“They have the best cheeseburger in Chicago. I went there in 2012, and 2013 on Kedzie, and omg it’s the best. I used to live in Highland Indiana and I took public transportation which it was GPTC bus to Downtown Hammond, and pace bus from Downtown Hammond Indiana to Downtown Harvey Illinois, and pace 349 from Harvey Transportation Center to 111th and Western, and CTA Route #112 bus from 111th and Western to 111th and Kedzie. Well now since I finally move to Chicago Auburn Gresham with my fiancé, and now I live 15 minutes away. I take 79th Street bus from 79th and Ashland to 79th and Kedzie, and transfer to CTA Route #52A Southbound and go all way to 111th and Kedzie. I’m even more glad you guys reopened which I had no idea where you guys relocated at Thanks to my friend Tracy for telling me where it is. I went there with my fiancé Raymon. I’m so glad you guys are amazing, and the service was great too. I’ll be back. This place is even very affordable.“

“Well, if they cook your food properly, it's not bad... however, if they don't and you need to send it back to cook it (not a fan of raw burgers 🤷‍♀️) and it comes back the same way... be prepared to not eat and pay for the meal anyway. I asked for it to be removed from our bill (over $100 total so not just a couple things) and they removed it after a small "fight" but literally charged us for a basket of fries cuz I ate a few fries off my plate, I guess. they don't take care of their mistakes nor do they care to make things right. Lost future business, everyone at the table was shocked.“

“We really enjoy the food plus the prices are very reasniable . We have tried almost everything on the menu and have enjoyed it all. Blake is an excellent bartender and host who makes you feel at home. He has a friendly personality and always has a smile on his face. Megan is a wonderful waitress who is friendly and outgoing. Best of all she makes us feel special because she always remembers what we like best. The owner (Roger) is a great person and always greets us with a big smile. “Every time I go to Smoke Filled Room, it's a GREAT time. The food, the service, the drinks, and the music are always on point. The atmosphere is grown and chill. And it's so nice to see people having a good time vibin' and enjoying themselves. It doesn't matter what day or when I go, it's always good vibes. The owners are a beautiful couple, and they walk around mixing and mingling with everyone. You gotta check it out!!!“

“Loncar Chico on 92nd is a South Side classic. I grabbed the fried chicken dinner with fries and a side of Hienie's hot sauce—crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. Also tried the deep-fried tacos, which were surprisingly good. Spent around $20, and it was worth every penny. The place has that old-school tavern vibe, friendly staff, and a laid-back atmosphere. Perfect spot to unwind with some comfort food.“

“This bar is a very nice GEM that has a great decor. The beers are ice cold and the drinks very refreshing. Taco Tuesdays are very tasty and the catfish dinner is Awesome. This is a very friendly bar with colorful characters. Watch the game from any seat or select a song from touch tunes and dance your cares away. Try you luck on the gaming machines or just have a couple of drinks with your buds.

“We had our son's first birthday here and cannot say enough good things about Gilhooleys. The manager Jim was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. The staff the day of was amazing and friendly. The food (we did the brunch option) was so delicious. We got so many compliments about the food and the space from our guests. It was our first time hosting a party so we were nervous, but Gilhooleys made everything easy for us. We are so grateful for such a wonderful time!“

“There’s nothing to better start your Saturday morning than a good, hearty breakfast and a great tasting cup of coffee: Bailey’s is that place! I pass this restaurant often, yet I’ve never stopped to dine in, until today! I am so glad that I did! The service was truly top notch: from entry to exit! The servers, hostess, and waitresses were polite, friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. I did not have to ask for refills on my coffee, my waitress kept the Java following. I had a guess with me and we both had a hearty, delicious breakfast! I ordered their Denver Skillet: scrumptious to the very end. Not one flavor, overlap the other: each ingredient came together to make for a delicious meal. I love coffee and typically, they aren’t that good at breakfast restaurants. Not the case at Bailey’s. I was able to drink the coffee without any sugar-in-the-raw or dairy. The coffee served here is just plain on good to the last drop! I sat and watch how staff interfaced with each other and the guest: they were excellent! My guest had crepes, with bacon which she fell in love with! The crepes were served with fresh strawberries and crème. She absolutely enjoyed her meal. We both, continued complimenting the food and service. The restaurant was very clean. It didn’t have that “food smell” that can usually be found in other restaurants. The restroom was clean. I always scope out restrooms because I believe if they’re unsanitary, the food preparation might be as well. The restroom was clean and had a fresh smell to it. The entry of the restaurant reminds you of an old country porch: hospitable and inviting. I hope this restaurant maintains its charm and cleanliness, as well as great service and quality food offerings. I will be returning. I don’t understand the negative reviews I see. I can only speak for my experience which was an excellent one. I walked away highly pleased.“

“One of the only bars in Oak Lawn that I frequent. This place is like going to a cousin's house, the atmosphere is always cool and chill, the DJ plays good music, you can usually run into the owner inside and she is a beautiful person and really down to earth. Drinks are great and my favorite food on the menu is the salmon bites (fried salmon strips). This is the new Cheers actually. Everybody here is very friendly and welcoming, again it's like being at a cousin's house so you basically just speak to everybody inside and bond. Thank you Geneva, love this place.“

“Had the pleasure of hosting my first baby shower here a few weeks back, and despite the covid issues we were still able to pull off an amazing party! With the help of the owner Jessica! Everything was wonderful, plenty of space for guests to keep a social distance, bar option available, a nice stage and Dj booth for music. Everything was very clean and modern. Jessica even helped us get decorated and set up. I couldn't have asked for a better venue! Everything turned out beautifully! Thank you City Limits! We will definitely be returning soon“

“My first visit here. I did not get to try any food. That's because lunch hours are 12:00 to 3:00 pm, and the kitchen opens back up at 5:00 p.m. I picked up my order today. I called it in. Please make sure when you call in your order to check to see what the specials are and how much they cost. According to the post, the special on Wednesday is a patty melt with fries for $6. When I got there they told me there was no special on patty melts. So I paid the regular price of $10.50 each. It's not a bad price but I was expecting to pay $12 in tax for two. I did go over the post with the cashier to make sure of any other specials going on during the week and of course the other specials were legit but not the one today. So I don't understand why the patty melt was not a special today.

Okay, let's get to the food. The patty melt was delicious. It was seasoned perfectly. The onions were grilled perfectly. The food was nice and hot.

I will come back again but I'm going to double-check to make sure about the prices before I do.

It's a great spot to hang out for lunch and dinner. There are less than 20 items on the menu but they are nicely priced. Also, if you're a drinker there's plenty of that too. And the prices are great.“
