The food is good, atmosphere is nice. People behind the bar are crabby.
We had a table of seven , we had an automatic tip added to our ticket. I didn’t catch that which is my fault. I really don’t understand why they do that. What difference does it make if you wait on a table of seven or 3 different tables we were on our own ticket. We got charged 10.75 tip and I gave the girl 8.00 on top of that. She never said a word. You got me once but never again.

I visit this establishment weekly as part of a large group. The food that I have sampled has been delightful. The meat is from a local meat market that I already love. The ? bacon is heavenly. Sandwiches are packed full. The one disappointing factor ,which applies to everyone @ this time of year, is their use of hothouse instead of fresh tomatoes. The service is prompt and courteous. The house bloody Mary is amazing . I've not tried the wine selection. The village of Hecker...

They won best onion rings on 1065 the arch, and they're really good.
There's plenty of stuff outside to occupy children as well. Great stop for a Harley or jeep cruise.
