Camp sites too close together. Lots of noise from boats launching from the ramp and adjacent highway near the campground . Has full hookups but little else aside from a pavilion. No picnic tables
This small town camping experience was amazing! Picturesque views of the Kaskaskia River! Brand new pavilion with new picnic tables, new on-site bathrooms, fresh rock, newly planted trees, FULL hook up, and 50 amp service! It was an amazing weekend! Take a half mile walk on the levee and don't forget your camera! Nice relaxing place to Stay. I would definitely recommend this place especially if you are a boater or a fisherman or someone that just wants to sit next to the river and relax. Some sites might be a little tight for bigger rigs. I'm pulling a 35 ft fifth wheel with a F350 crew cab, 8 foot bed. I fit just fine!April 12, 2024
