“Great comfort food for everyone. Excellent value for what you get. Also right next door or through a passthrough door is the bar. Nice air-conditioning on a hot day. The place has shakes, splits and sundaes for those extra hot days. Sorry no pics.....I was super hungry and ate it all before I remembered.”

“Food: went there for the biscuits and gravy. A friend told me that they were the best in the county and they were not wrong, they were fluffy biscuits with homemade sausage, gravy, and very very, very delicious. I added two over medium eggs on top and then mixed it all up and ate it and it was without a doubt the best I've ever had. Service: wonderful funny ladies serving that morning. If you are super sensitive, please bring your sense of humor with you. This is in a small farming, community where anything goes. Ambiance: clean, fun place in a small country town. “We were traveling a bit of an unfamiliar route up to Schaumburg with a cranky babe and empty stomachs, and we’re so glad we found this little gem!! We were able to change our little man and chat with the owner. She made the biggest, juiciest burgers and some of the best homemade mac n cheese!! Highly recommend!”

“Tom's Tavern has never disappointed. Yesterday, We had their Easter Sunday Brunch and it was awesome. Plenty of food choices ranging from ham, turkey, pasta, potatoes, dessert, and more! The staff was hustling to keep their patrons well served with food choices, beverages, and clearing tables. We tried almost everything on the menu and we were completely satisfied. The restaurant older but is clean. Plenty of seating for guests.”
