This was my first time there. I ordered a burrito and it has some of the freshest ingredients I have ever tasted. It is also a large and generous portion, well for me at least. Only complaint is that the cashier could have been friendlier.

I’m not usual in Highland Park but my friend and I were searching for delicious food while waiting for more news from the hospital. Not only was the atmosphere of this restaurant inviting and bright, but the staff were so kind and friendly. They gave us churros to bring back to my friend’s mom who hadn’t eaten in quite a while from the stress of waiting. The food was delicious, well seasoned, and filling (I got chicken tinga tacos). A needed emotional and nutritional lift on a hard weekend!! Very affordable and very yummy. Get the horchata for sure.
Great Mexican option. Prices are reasonable, service was fast. Only seats approx 12 but does a lot of 'to go'.

Was my second visit, brought some friends and the owner was there and she was thrilled to have us in on her birthday and the staff was helpful! Service was fantastic and the Birria tacos were off the charts, the most flavorful I’ve had in the northern burbs!! The consommé was, chefs kiss perfect and we poured on our rice for more flavor! Enjoy and support this local family owned business!

Been stopping in pretty regularly. Huge menu, surprisingly so for a small store front. Thus far everything good. Love the California burrito and the birria tacos. Today I tried the Cubana torta and wow. It was amazing. Perfectly crisp chicken milanesa, with a thick slice of ham and a fried egg … sour cream, guacamole. For me no beans. Didn’t need it. Delicious. Reasonable prices. Efficient service and friendly.
