That place has real tea! In the real teapot. That alone deserved my undying gratitude. Food is amazing, flavored with unique spices that don't overwhelm your palate. I suppose taste could feel unusual for the people unfamiliar with Silk Road cuisine, but that's the beauty of places like that: you can expand your taste without actual travel.
