Wonderful spot for brunch. It was empty when we got there - hopefully more people come and visit this place!

Delicious! Came for brunch on a Saturday around noon. Had the bagel and lox, huevos rancheros, and tres leches French toast. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. The French toast was to die for. Service was amazing and quick. Highly recommend!

Food here was outstanding. Brussel sprouts top notch. Asparagus chips were novel. Pork chop tasty. Hamburger delicious. Chicken Milanese was a huge portion and flavorful. Came on a Saturday and it was busy. It would be a 5 but it's going to be a smidge loud on busy nights and I personally prefer more beer options but get that is getting harder to find. All the wait staff were attentive and very friendly. A nice evening out for sure.

Pixca is one of the best restaurants in Highland Park, in my informed opinion. The two of us were there on a Wednesday Evening (yesterday) and really enjoyed the service and personalized attention by our server Ms. Lady who made excellent suggestions. The warm appetizers (Clams), salads were clearly comparable to Michelin starred restaurants! My “Oxacan Old Fashioned” was awesome!! The highlight for me was my main dish: Wasabi crusted White Fish. We also got a chance to tell the Exevitive Chef/Owner (Fernandao) that Pixca is a great find and we will probably eat there once every month! This restaurant is a good candidate for getting a Michelin star!!!

Loved it!!

My parents always drive down from Wisconsin to visit me on my birthday and we meet in the highland park area. Last year the place we chose had terrible service and very mediocre food so we did not want to go back. I found Pixca on google and am so glad I did. The food was amazing! My mom has Celiac disease and our server Itza was very knowledgeable on which entrees could be gf. My parents and I got the salmon, whitefish and steak frites. All of our food was excellent. They brought out a dessert for my birthday and the brownie was amazing! Itza was fantastic, very attentive and knowledgeable! The restaurant itself was very cozy. Overall a 10/10 experience and we can’t wait to go back!

The restaurant is nice but laid out terribly. navigating from the host stand to a table is a pretty “bumpy ride” as the table layout compels you to really bother seated diners. There is no specific star setting for cocktails. They are a “1” they are very unbalanced and heavy on the sweet end of the spectrum of the cocktail description. We had 2 cocktails and both were BAD. Not sure if there was Mezcal in their Mezcal specialty drink. The drink costs are in line with way too expensive cocktails now the norm but the high price for the insipid drinks is ridiculous. Stick with wine.

Ate here before a mid- week show at Ravinia. The food was really good, as was the service. Particularly the excellent beet salad with Gorgonzola- I wish I had the recipe, it was so delicious!

What started out as a not so good experience for this solo diner turned into a truly enjoyable experience thanks to Rebecca. The whitefish entree is exceptional! Absolutely recommend!

We stopped here for brunch after the North Shore Classic road race and are happy we did! Very friendly and attentive service, and all of the dishes were delicious...a lot of inventive flavors and interesting takes on classic dishes. Great coffee too! Will definitely be back next time we're in the area.
