Yana's Speakeasy Reviews
Need a place for a party? Yanna's is a great choice. We recently celebrated my sister's birthday party at Yanna's Speakeasy for 36 people and it was absolutely outstanding. The food was delicious, beautifully displayed and enjoyed in our group. Yanna was excellent to work with. What really made the afternoon unforgettable was the use of the barbershop area for the murder mystery experience -it added such a fun and unique atmosphere. Every detail was handled perfectly, and our...read full review

Yana's Speakeasy is a hidden gem and an absolute gem in the Ravinia area, offering a unique and magical experience. The entrance itself is a super cool and intriguing secret, disguised behind a piano or a harpsichord within a charming barbershop. Inside, the vibe is incredible, intimate, cozy, and full of character. The atmosphere is artistic, stylish, and memorable, featuring rotating art pieces, changing pictures, and unique furniture that make every visit feel fresh.
The owner treats the place like her baby, and her warm, sweet, and involved presence is felt in every thoughtfully curated detail. The service is top notch, with friendly and attentive waitresses, bartenders, and a first rate craft bartender. The cocktails are fantastic, top notch, and crafted with love, with highlights being the deliciously complex Tiki Old Fashioned and the Hot Bartender. The house-made horseradish vodka is also notable.
The food is delightful with fantastic apps, like the tiny blini with red and black caviar, and very good borscht. The steak on a stone was great. However, main dishes can be small, with some like the chicken reported as dry, and the menu is very limited. Some find the pricing high for portion sizes. While the overall experience is highly recommended and makes you want to stay all night or return, some elements like trippy AI-generated videos on TVs may not fit the cozy, artistic atmosphere for all guests.
