I've been at this restaurant only twice. Once for lunch in 2022; another for dinner just recently. I'm 50/50 for Blue Springs Cafe. The lunch was not bad. Dinner, however, I wasn't impressed with. I ordered the Tilapia dinner. It was close to bland! Tasteless! Best part about the entire experience at this place has been the service.

This was just okay. Not at all what I thought it would be. Food was good but not great, pie was good for the area but you can find better elsewhere. Prices are a bit high for what you get. Glad we tried it but probably wouldn't visit again.

Blue Springs Cafe has been a must stop for us since my kids were young. The family style meals are delightful with many choices of mains and sides. Issues: our side dishes were room temp. The fried chicken tasted of old grease. In short, just not the amazing dishes we have previously enjoyed. We'll be back, even so. Maybe they had an off day.

We were traveling from St. Louis back to Cincy from a wedding, and saw signs for the Blue Springs Cafe foot high pie - we thought let's stop for some pie and coffee...we ended up having the most wonderful lunch. Sundays are family style - vinegar slaw, pickled beets and rolls to share first, then each person orders their own main - and it comes with mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans - all the starters and sides are unlimited. It was a crazy amount of food for the cost. We both ended up bringing home leftovers, thank goodness we had a cooler. The fried chicken is made to order, you can request, white, dark or mixed, and its 4 pieces..enough for 2 to share. My husband had the fried walleye, it was seasoned lighted and the breading wasn't greasy. We took slices of strawberry rhubarb and cherry pie home. Staff was friendly and helpful. They take cash, cheque and venmo. They also have an ATM. During lunch the place filled up quick, and we saw coming in to pickup pie orders. This place is definitely a hidden gem - don't just drive by.

We showed up in a bus with 20 people on Saturday right after the lunch rush. The people at Blue Springs could not have been nicer, more accommodating, and every single person in our party raved about how good their food was. Their pies are to die for. All of their food is homemade. My husband had the chicken and dumplings and he said they were delicious, almost as good as mine! I had the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich, and it was fabulous. We all remarked that the service was so efficient and the were able to get all 20 orders out hot and delicious!!!

If you are within 1 hour of this place its well worth the drive. Top 3 places to eat in my lifetime. Im a big boy. They feed you here. Just Amazing. With your meal you will get green beans, mash potatoes, salad, beatiful bisquits and outstanding gravy. Oh yeah.... all you cat eat sides. Headed home to Ohio full and impressed. Right off the higway too. $15 for my plate with sides.

Perfect quick stop for a home made meal. Easy off and easy back on to the freeway. Ample parking. Olde time diner atmosphere. Friendly staff. Delicious home style food. Ample portions. Everything on the lunch menu is $10.95. Don’t forget the pies!
