It's sad they can't keep workers here. The wait times are hard but the food has always been very good and the service great.

I realize it’s 9:00 in the middle of the week and people would rather be home with their families, but we just had an extremely rude employee. Melissa was her name. She was rude to us and proceeded not to get the order correct. We also heard her being rude to other customers while ordering.

Update after trying again- Wow, either your employees hate their jobs, don’t know how to make a simple burger, or aren’t given the proper ingredients. Got the garlic bacon burger and all that’s on it is the burger and onions…sad. Management here needs to give their employees a heck of a lot more training and they actually need to work for what they’re getting paid for because right now with how they act with food, they don’t even deserve to be getting paid more than $10 an hour. Either they aren’t trained properly or are just not smart at all and can’t use common sense. Very disappointing and basically they are committing fraud in other terms for charging for stuff that they aren’t giving to customers.

Thanks for the misery Highland Sonic! I’m lactose intolerant and we went through the drive thru and literally said 3 times “No Cheese” on my burger and the guy even repeated it back to us! What happens when they bring the food out 20 minutes later (yes, 20 minutes, Highland Sonic is always SUPER slow and they weren’t even busy, do better! Honestly you should pay for our gas wasted waiting for that)? It has not only 1, but 2 slices of cheese. I tell the lady it was wrong and what was ordered, etc. and she was like “well I guess we could remake it” and I asked how long that would take and she said “well there’s 2 cars behind you so we would do theirs first”…I’m sorry but if YOU messed up my order, shouldn’t you either fix it ASAP or give us a refund? I mean these fast food workers want to get paid more than minimum wage? No! They can’t even get a “no cheese” order correct…I don’t know if it’s laziness or lack of common sense? I don’t trust them to not spit on my food when they’re remaking their mistake so we just went home and I had to take off half the burger to try to scrape as much cheese as I could off. Total BS! The food tasted decent as fast (well not fast in this case) food does, but I could only eat half of it.

I had ordered at 11:55 am, and it took an hour and 32 minutes for food. At 57 minutes I went through the drive-thru, and told the workers how long I was waiting and that I would like to have a refund. While waiting for help, they decided to make the food instead of giving me a refund. Besides being an hour and 32 min behind, the manager kept saying he was going to fire his co-worker while bringing food out to customers, I found this behavior to be unprofessional and rude. I highly recommend this location to gain better customer service skills and respect to other co-workers.

We ordered a oreo master chocolate shake and a slushy. The slushy was completely ice after few drinks. The oreo chocolate master shake was just a cup of ice cream with a few oreo peices in it. If you can't do the item, tell the customer. Don't just give them something they didn't want. I wish I could do 0 stars. It was the evening shift that did this btw. AND WE WAITED 20+ MINUTES FOR OUR 2 DRINKS. When he handed me my SHAKE he didnt even give me a straw. He gave me a spoon. Which tells me he knew about the issue and chose not to care and didnt say a word to me. Bruh. The quality control doesn't exist at this place. Corporate needs to drop the people on that shift and come in with new training before this place gets canceled for how blatantly horrible the quality control is.

Absolutely horrible. We waited an hour and asked if we could atleast have our drinks and the lady was extremely rude and she denied us our drinks. I have worked in customer service over 10 years, there's no way I would ever talk to customers the way she did. Please find better, respectful employees.

Ordered door dash @10:10pm for a few small items. I’m talking a friend pickle, French fry and cheddar poppers. They accept the order and a dasher waited for my food for 20min; then they canceled the order right @10:30 and said they were closed. Very unprofessional. Will not be ordering again; I’m new to the area and set my expectations very low for what the service will be like in the future so I won’t be indulging anything else even if it’s in the middle of the day. Do better or don’t accept orders until 10:30pm just to cancel them

Servers are super good,,, I can't recommend the garlic bacon cheeseburger - greacy heavy on onions, small bacon, just isn't as good as I expected based on other similar ones I've had. HOWEVER, GREAT hot fudge shake!!!

Horrible do not go here. This is not a new problem after multiple issues waiting 30 minutes to an hour for melted ice cream. Tonight we tried them again because they're supposedly under new management.
We checked in for our drinks order and got confirmation both on the menu board and in the app that we were checked in. After just over 30 minutes I pressed the order button to ask and the lady lied saying we weren't checked in. But our drinks were already made because she barely finished speaking before bringing them out. They were wrong we ordered Route 44 but not large, and one drink was just some weird green lime thing when it was supposed to be Coke Zero. Other families had time to order get food and eat before we even got our watered down drinks that seemed like they had been sitting for 30 minutes. Supposedly the person working. Which if that's true it means they have Horrible management that either can't keep workers or can't properly schedule the staff they have.

Do not bother with sonic in Highland there are too many other choices. And if you really want sonic there is at least one other sonic within 20 miles of Highland.

Never got my food, worst employees ever. Literally lied to our faces. Do not go horrible service. Horrible Horrible service. 2 minor girls walked up 10 min after we ordered the server came out of the building to serve them and the received their meal first. Called him out on it and lied to us.
