Getting service here is nothing but a painful experience. Placed a mobile order and pulled up to a stall and pressed the button. I proceeded to wait 15 mins knowing this place has a habit of long wait times. After seeing a couple cars back out of drive thru and leave i decided to go see whats going one. I stand over by walkup order boards and see three high school age staff members notice me standing there waiting. After bejng ignored repeatedly I decided to see why everyone was leaving drive thru to be greeted by a hand written not saying sorry were closed. Store closing hours are 9 and this was 8:15. Instead of a staff member coming out to tell me they are closing early for X reason and refund me my online order, i was ignored and had to call sonic customer support to get my money back. Last time I go to this Sonic in Highland.

Sad we have this restaurant and you can't get service. I sat at the drive up for 12 min and no one took my order and there were only a couple of cars at the drive up parking. 3 cars behind me left and went to other places. I left and went to DQ and was greated right away and my order was taken and within three min I was on my way back to work. Shame they can't get it right there.

ordered doordash. just two coffees, they gave the door dasher a hard time and was very rude to him. THE COFFEE TASTES EXPIRED. tasted sour and there was supposed to be extra caramel. not sweet at all. horrible horrible service please don’t go here.

Ordered pick up tonight. It was dark when we pulled into the parking lot and there were no outside lights on, no bay lights, overhead lights and the drive thru wasn’t lit up. The place looked closed. My order included a smash burger meal with tots, 2 cherry limeaids with an extra cherry in each, a coney and 2 chili cheese frito wraps, regular size.

Although, I was charged for the extra cherries in both drinks there was none in either drink only the lime wedges. The chili cheese frito wraps were extremely small (like a jr wrap) compared to the last time I ordered them.

The server brought out our food only saying “here you go”, doing the hand off and running off back to the restaurant.

If someone orders something they should get what they pay for. If you are no longer including the fruit in the drinks they should be removed from the menu and definitely NOT charging extra. If I order and pay for a specific menu item I shouldn’t get anything but that menu item.

I realize it’s 9:00 in the middle of the week and people would rather be home with their families, but we just had an extremely rude employee. Melissa was her name. She was rude to us and proceeded not to get the order correct. We also heard her being rude to other customers while ordering.

Update after trying again- Wow, either your employees hate their jobs, don’t know how to make a simple burger, or aren’t given the proper ingredients. Got the garlic bacon burger and all that’s on it is the burger and onions…sad. Management here needs to give their employees a heck of a lot more training and they actually need to work for what they’re getting paid for because right now with how they act with food, they don’t even deserve to be getting paid more than $10 an hour. Either they aren’t trained properly or are just not smart at all and can’t use common sense. Very disappointing and basically they are committing fraud in other terms for charging for stuff that they aren’t giving to customers.

Thanks for the misery Highland Sonic! I’m lactose intolerant and we went through the drive thru and literally said 3 times “No Cheese” on my burger and the guy even repeated it back to us! What happens when they bring the food out 20 minutes later (yes, 20 minutes, Highland Sonic is always SUPER slow and they weren’t even busy, do better! Honestly you should pay for our gas wasted waiting for that)? It has not only 1, but 2 slices of cheese. I tell the lady it was wrong and what was ordered, etc. and she was like “well I guess we could remake it” and I asked how long that would take and she said “well there’s 2 cars behind you so we would do theirs first”…I’m sorry but if YOU messed up my order, shouldn’t you either fix it ASAP or give us a refund? I mean these fast food workers want to get paid more than minimum wage? No! They can’t even get a “no cheese” order correct…I don’t know if it’s laziness or lack of common sense? I don’t trust them to not spit on my food when they’re remaking their mistake so we just went home and I had to take off half the burger to try to scrape as much cheese as I could off. Total BS! The food tasted decent as fast (well not fast in this case) food does, but I could only eat half of it.

I had ordered at 11:55 am, and it took an hour and 32 minutes for food. At 57 minutes I went through the drive-thru, and told the workers how long I was waiting and that I would like to have a refund. While waiting for help, they decided to make the food instead of giving me a refund. Besides being an hour and 32 min behind, the manager kept saying he was going to fire his co-worker while bringing food out to customers, I found this behavior to be unprofessional and rude. I highly recommend this location to gain better customer service skills and respect to other co-workers.

We ordered a oreo master chocolate shake and a slushy. The slushy was completely ice after few drinks. The oreo chocolate master shake was just a cup of ice cream with a few oreo peices in it. If you can't do the item, tell the customer. Don't just give them something they didn't want. I wish I could do 0 stars. It was the evening shift that did this btw. AND WE WAITED 20+ MINUTES FOR OUR 2 DRINKS. When he handed me my SHAKE he didnt even give me a straw. He gave me a spoon. Which tells me he knew about the issue and chose not to care and didnt say a word to me. Bruh. The quality control doesn't exist at this place. Corporate needs to drop the people on that shift and come in with new training before this place gets canceled for how blatantly horrible the quality control is.
