First time I came all the way from Texas. I have to admit, overall, the food was good, the rice was not cooked from scratch, but I got the carribean twist. That's the only reason I did not give a 5 stars. Now, the Khan Khan pork chop, OH MY!!! I was not expecting that kind of pork chop SUPER BIG and delicious. My wife and my daughter had a mofongo con churrasco, and they loved it. The chef came to me and explained about the rice and gave me a mofongo instead. I really can't complain about the service. They really take care of you. I will definitely come back but no rice.

El Buren is our favorite sit down restaurant in Highwood! The food is reasonably priced, always delicious, the servers are friendly, and the cocktails are so fun! Our one year old couldn't get enough of the mango salsa! In the summer their patio is super cute and a fun place to enjoy a nice dinner!
