Papa Willie's BBQ

This place was absolutely fantastic. Both the ribs and barbecue chicken were completely juicy and tender - - unlike a number of places that I have visited post-pandemic. They have not reduced their quality. All of the ingredients are fresh and not overly sweet. Absolutely amazing flavors and cuisine. I even went back for seconds. Coming here was totally worth the trip. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to locals and outsiders alike. Brian, the owner lives up to his charismatic character as displayed on Hells Kitchen, and it was an absolute pleasure too meet him in person. Definitely my new favorite eatery on the North Shore

I first tried Papa Willie's in 11/2019 and I found the experience lacking in some ways in my estimation which I noted in a review at that time and I planned on coming back because the ribs were tasty. With the lockdown I didn't make it back until today. I had a half-slab of the BBQ ribs, the special cornbread with grain-fed corn or whatever it was, onion rings, an ear of corn and the slaw.
