Today (Sunday 9-28-2025) is the second time I've dined here; I dined here last Sunday 9-21! I love this place! An Indian coworker of mine (she's from New Delhi), recommended Kritunga--and she was spot-on with her recommendation! I came here both times for their lunch buffet, which is huge! There are 20 options to choose from! Most of them are vegetarian options, but there are at least 4 or 5 chicken options (including Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani, and 2 other chicken...
The food is the real star here. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and authenticity, from the perfectly spiced biryanis to the comforting curries and fresh dosas. The spice levels were just right, and you can tell the chefs put real care into balancing taste with tradition. Portions are generous, making it perfect for sharing with family or friends.

I briefly stepped in to try for take out. My first time. I’ve been looking for a proper Indian restaurant not too far from Elgin and I believe I have found it! I went safe with Butter chicken, garlic naan and chicken Kritunga sankati. I have to know how a place does something I’m familiar with before going in deep. And it was the best version of Butter chicken I’ve had in a spell! Naan was adorned with lotsa garlic. And Sankati is probably better in house but also very tasty....
