got the vegetable kohlapuri and it was divine, waitstaff were attentive and prices were affordable

I have never seen any Indian restaurant take shortcuts to cooking food. I order chicken vindaloo and this tasted like tomato soup. I believe they used tomato paste instead of fresh tomatoes. The food for that price was terrible and was not authentic at all. I order food from a lot of Indian restaurants and never felt more cheated. This restaurant did not use fresh ingredients and ruined my experience.No wonder no good ratings from fellow Indians. Please stop selling this as authentic Indian food.Will never order from here again.
Excellent, very good place
The owners were great and the food was authentic and even better. I felt like I knew the guys just meeting them once. Managers and owners that take a liking to speak to their customers are passionate about what they are doing. Drove out from Woodstock for the meal and wasn't dissapointed. I see some complaining about ambience and pricing. Don't get that...prices were around 10 dollars a meal. When did that get pricy for people in Algonquin for home cooked food? Don't think they are interior designers either. Good food for sure.
This spot never fails to impress. They serve excellent dishes for reasonable prices, there no long wait even when they are full.
I enjoy the food varieties and good customer service. I can't get enough of mango lassie, goat curry and kebab... I'd choose Thumka anytime, any day. I love this place. Keep it up and thank you for the good food
I admire this restaurant! They prepare tasty meals, their menu is rich, The chief cook in that place is well trained, I like very much eating all their dishes. The food is consistently fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the clients is efficient. I often go to this restaurant and I was never discontended. I recommend it to all my friends.
Terrible food and service. Dead ambience. Need to improve.
It's just an ok restaurant for buffet. Very limited options for both vegetarian and non vegetarian people. Their fruits dishes were empty. Deserts really suck.

Ok Indian the biriani was not bad, the chicken tikka masala was better. Samosas were super oily
