“I always love coming here & frequently do when I want a good hearty meal or bringing friends. We are always kindly greeted & welcomed when arriving. It smells wonderful & makes us more hungry! We are served a cup of soup (gratis) with every meal including breakfast (their soups are delicious). The staff is friendly & always accommodating. Our food is served hot in generous proportions & for the price (very reasonable compared to other restaurants of this kind), it can’t be beat. Greek owned, the hospitality & food is reflective of the Greek Culture, representing pride, family, community, friendship, kindness & duty of service that is offered to their guests. This is known as Philotimo (pronounced “Fi-ló-timo” [Fee-low-timo]).“

Always families eating and enjoying themselves. Our waitress named was Jamie. She was a sweetheart. Very attentive and a very sweet spirit. We ordered the Belgian waffle with the side of eggs and the country fried steak. Everything was amazing as USUAL!“

“First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!“

“Thank you guys for taking time out to read my latest review as I always say before I start my reviews everyone has their own experience I am just sharing my own experience with you so I decided to dine in at The Original Pancake House in Oak Forest I have many times visited the location in in Hyde Park can I have been frequently coming to this location for almost a year now whenever I am in the neighborhood I'm making my business to stop in prioritize myself and give me perfect time to reset and have some me time so let's get into the review I would say this location gets 10 stars from me I have come here to this location a number of times and one of the things I would like to mention is the whole entire staff delivers world class service I have never seen them have a off day no matter what race no matter if it's a man or a woman they are the best at making a customer feel like they're one of the family one thing I do like is that they remember that regulars by name you are greeted by the hostess with a friendly hello and how was your day what the owner has done is capture the authenticity of what it feels like to be at a establishment I receive top-notch service I can see why they have been in business for decades the food is always cooked to Perfection so many options to choose from I always get the chicken sausage pigs in a blanket I get the chicken sausage instead of the pork sausage and I do not get any whipped cream or powder how long do pigs in a blanket they are just wrapped up I also love the fact that there juices are freshly squeezed I am a fan of the grapefruit juice I can't lie play scrambled eggs are always on the point and I'll always make one of my family members told me that if you enjoy the food and the service and I like to take time out to recognize great service and recommending others to the establishment. “Another great experience of eating near Country Club Hills, IL. Much of Chicago includes a thriving, vibrant Mexican community. It appears this restaurant has a beautiful family vibe. The atmosphere was comfortable. The building was spacious with plenty of parking and plenty of seats, mostly booths. The staff was warm and inviting. The food featured a variety of comfortable hospitality; sandwiches, soups and great desserts. I had a breakfast dish with great eggs. I loved the attentive service. More like a round omelet with cheese on top. Not much flavor. A little better when topped with the little cups of salsa & sour cream. Veggies over cooked & bacon was nor well done as I requested. Hash browns were just shredded potatoes nothing special. Coffee hot & good. Next time will stay with German breakfast with potato pancakes.“
