Nice little off the beaten path bar, generally clean bathrooms and friendly staff.Parking: Best parking for golf carts, they should tear down the building across the street and rock it for the farm truck parking.”

“Hands down, this is the place to go for breakfast or lunch in Mattoon, IL. Their food is absolutely amazing!!! Biscuits and gravy are out of this world. The pancakes are huuuggggeeee!!! “Was taken here for the first time by my daughter, an Eastern Illinois alumni, before heading to the awesome Aikman Wildlife Adventure park, and it was DELICIOUS! Friendly staff from the start, even the head cook came out to welcome me to this lovely, Mexican cultural with a hint of Frida decorated eatery, and invited me to taste some very very delicious and authentic food! Chicago I feel reigns in great Mexican food in Illinois, but this spot, about 3 hours south of Chicago, made sure to make a point that even in rural areas of Illinois, there is great and authentic food! We shared a yummy torta de carne Al Pastor that was perfect, from the bread to the scrumptious and savory meat! We also shared two types of sopes, one of Al Pastor and the other of Asada, that wowed me because of the serving of meat to the perfect size and quality of the masa but also the great taste! Theres a presence of both Monterey and Toluca not just in the food, but the warmth of the staff and taqueria! A must do if you find yourself near Arcola, IL. #graciastotales”

“Cafeteria style setup lets you select the various food items and toppings. Soft drinks are available in a standard cooler. It can get busy, but we've never stood on line for more than 7 or 8 minutes. It's one of our go-to spots for a quick, healthy, and tasty meal !”

“Monical's Pizza is one of the best pizza places on the planet, but on top of the fact that Monical's is fantastic, the Arcola Monical's is the best of all of them.If you have a large group that is going to eat in, I would recommend that you call ahead by a few days because they are sometimes not the most accommodating for very large groups. But if you have somewhere between 8 to 10 people they will usually work with you pretty well if you just show up.Overall you really just cannot go wrong with Monical's.”

“It might not look like much but they have some of the best salsa I've had in a long time. The burrito I ordered was phenomenal and the staff was very friendly and attentive. “Our first time here. Picked this place due to Google reviews. They were spot on! Fun atmosphere, bartenders are also the servers and we're great. Super cheap drinks!My husband had the ham and cheese with fries and it was wonderful. I had the chicken salad sandwich with a side of cottage cheese. The sandwich looked so good when it came out, but I didn't care for the chicken salad, it had a sweet taste. Maybe that's just my taste buds. Then after dinner we went and played the slot machines for maybe 20 minutes and won $48 just like that! We played the Wizard of Oz machine. That was fun!!!!I would recommend this place for sure. I just wouldn't recommend the chicken salad sandwich.”

“I prefer Jersey Mike's over most any other sub shop. Definitely over the often-pitiful Subway. The people are in a good mood, great at what they do and very friendly. I can't go here all the time, but when I want a sandwich this is where I go. I know I'll get great food and be treated like they want me to come back.”

“I ordered a hot caramel coffee and I asked what the cashier recommended from their pastry section beautiful set up. I’ve personally watched a worker. Take donuts out of the oven and put them in the displays so they are fresh every morning. Quite a refreshing vibe and change from McDonald’s to week old fake display. The price was not bad at all. I ended up ordering a large caramel coffee, a raspberry cheesecake, muffin warmed up and a small chocolate milkshake. The price came out to be about $13.00 and honestly that’s a really good deal compared to anywhere nowadays. I am always so delighted by the quality of everything here the chocolate milkshakes are amazing custard the coffee needed no extra sweetener. It was perfect. It wasn’t too sweet and it wasn’t too bitter. It still tasted like coffee. It was amazing you could just tell they were something different in this coffee, maybe extra love or care I do know that all of the cups down to the silverware has these Bible verses on them and they are numbered one through five and it’s like a little game but if you can collect all of them. I honestly love this place. This is probably my favorite place I’ve been to so far if you are ever around Arthur you have to stop in. Even if you don’t appreciate the food which you will you will love the atmosphere in here. It’s much larger than expected. There’s about three floors of sitting area, kid, friendly booster seats nice and clean well taken care of and there’s really cute accessories here as well that they sell and everything is beautiful. Even the customer service was really good. I got smiles and I got greeted which is more than I can say from any other business lately I can tell that this place is trying to keep society on the right path so let’s support this.”

Was so kind enough to see me trying to get my elderly mother and two young kids inside when it's windy, raining and cold they came outside to help get her inside and helped her to the car after we were done with our meal.
