“Wow, I have to admit I was completely wrong about Olive Garden! When my sister suggested going, I laughed, thinking it would mean mediocre food, bad service, and unimpressive drinks. But this location totally proved me wrong. Our waitress was absolutely amazing—seriously one of the nicest people I’ve ever met (wish I remembered her name!). The food was delicious, and the drinks were fun and creative. Way to go, Olive Garden—you’ve changed my mind!“

“We typically use the drive thru. We like your food, always fresh and tasty. Tonight I had the chicken avocado and strawberry salad. The salad was fresh, walnuts were sweet and crispy, dressing was very creamy. The only criticism I have is my chicken avocado and strawberry salad had no avocados. I do understand sometimes you can run out of ingredients or supply chain issues can interfere with menus. I would just ask to have this made known to us upon ordering or upon discovery, all in the interest of good customer service that you usually do deliver.“

“During the 7 Friday’s of Lent we went to 5 different fish fry’s, and without a doubt Moretti’s was the best. Not only was the price the best, the amount of fish was the most without AYCE. Great French Fries, homemade coleslaw and plenty of tartar sauce. Another plus was Happy Hour Coors Light drafts for $3. I’d like to thank our server ( Will M. )for doing a great job.“

“As long time patrons of Cucina Bella, we had high expectations for my daughter’s bridal shower, which were far surpassed. We had 56 guests; the restaurant was closed so we used the entire dining room and bar area. The exposed brick-walled room has such character and warmth; we added only a few table centerpieces and candles. The delicious food was served family style and each table had plenty (we took leftovers home)! It was high quality, very fresh, and all dishes were served at the correct temperatures.
Our menu included bruschetta, grilled calamari, house salad, penne marinara, gnocchi with vodka sauce, chicken Francese and tiramisu. This penne marinara is a flavorful departure from a typical mostaccioli dish. My daughter’s favorite is the gnocchi with vodka - the gnocchi were pillow soft and the sauce perfectly robust. The tasty chicken was tender and savory. Can’t tell you how many guests said they literally wanted to “drink all of the sauces”! They raved about the scrumptious food, mimosa bar, bloody Marys, ambience and service - and they are still talking about it!
Kim and Lindsey were amazing and did not miss a beat in providing top notch service for the large group. I have no idea how they did it all and did it so well - all in good cheer! Erin is a terrific event coordinator, very responsive, thorough and professional, offering suggestions and lots of patience! High praise to the kitchen staff as well. All helped to create a most memorable experience for us. Thank you!“

They worked with me to order the right amount of food since it was a smaller group than a typical catering package. They also kindly delivered slightly outside their delivery area since their closer location is closed during lunch. “We ordered a catering package from Papa Saverios in Crystal Lake for Mother's day and the food was outstanding. Our package included the Italian beef, mostaccioli, fried chicken and swapped out the garden salad tray for their chopped salad (for an extra cost) but was so happy they were able to accommodate us. Everyone commented on how good the food was especially and surprisingly the fried chicken. It came crispy, moist and delicious. We will continue to do our catering with them! Today it was late at night almost a hour till closing, I ordered my pizza and wings, and everything was great. I was just getting out of work and running late so I called ahead and asked if they could wait 10 minutes for me and they were very nice about it. The employees are great and deserve a raise!“
