“I cannot state this with enough enthusiasm. This place is INCREDIBLE. The food is outstanding, unlike any other restaurant in the area. As for this place being RACIST?!? That reviewer either clearly did not go into the restaurant or they just want to cause controversy, as they have people of all races WORKING THERE and the staff is treated very well, like they are all family! That comment is clearly insane and looking for attention. Back to my review. The spaghetti with sausage is so authentic and delicious, the tomato bisque soup is clearly homemade and delicious! The mediteranean salad is mindblowing. This is truly authentic, homemade food and all seasoned PERFECTLY. We are always loyal customers of Lauretta's and will definitely be back!!!“
“Best food in Mchenry, I’ve been coming here for years and have never had a disappointing meal. Sausage and peppers , shrimp burrata, bruschetta, amazing for appetizers. Stuffed chicken is my go to for dinner. Today i had lunch for the first time, chicken bruschetta sandwhich. Super tasty and the fries were amazing. All the servers are super friendly.“
“It's been awhile since I've had pizza at their location in Round lake. This one in Lake Villa, was awesome.. The pizza was excellent and very tasty. I recommend people try Galati's Restaurant first before going anywhere else.“
“I recently went here with my family after a colleague of mine, recommended it. The first course that we had was calamari, and they were much larger pieces than I'm accustomed to, and the breading was a little bit soggy however, the second appetizer we ordered was clams, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The rest of our meals were outstanding, and we will definitely be coming back on a sidenote from a service perspective I came with my wife and three children, one of which is eight months old. The hostess or manager offered for us to sit in a private room for the door that closes as there was some music in the background. Exceptional food, exceptional service, and exceptional people.!“
“I love Buddyz, always have, but last night we had a little birthday party for my mom in the back room and not only was the food the delicious as usual, and the room perfect for the occasion, they let us bring in a little entertainment (Elvis is in the building!) but it was the service tha was a knock out! Our servers were so attentive, so much fun, so friendly, they added that cherry on the cake that made the evening perfect! “Loved SLYCE Pizza. My wife and I are big fans of coal-fired pizza. Where I'm from in the NYC tri-state area, the best Italian food is in neighborhood family tavern restaurants and those thin crust tavern pies are cooked in super hot ovens. SLYCE brings it all back. Quality ingredients, great suggested combinations, good service and pleasant ambience. There's a lot of pizza choices in Chicagoland and we drive 25 minutes to SLYCE. There must be at least 100 pizza joints in the 25 mile radius. I'll take SLYCE. Keep up the great work!“

Their specials are a good value, another problem with ordering pizza these days, it’s so expensive you might as well go for a proper meal, especially when you never seem to be able to say, “Wow! “Beyond AWESOME!!!! I just found this place online and the reviews looked good so we thought we would try it. The menu is very appetizing. We ordered delivery and it was fast, the food was hot and the delivery guy was great. The food was SO fresh! The pizza was delicious, sausage is home made and it has great crispy crust ! We also ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo with sausage and shrimp and it was out of this world. The portions are big. We can’t wait to go there and dine in. You will not be disappointed!!“
“This place is pretty small, but the food is delicious. I am gluten free and I never have issues eating here. My husband and I recently discovered them and now they are a household favorite.Dietary restrictions: I have a gluten allergy and I have not had a reaction after eating here. “I called, placed my order and the Girl on the phone was friendly and accurate as to what I had ordered and she said my pizza would be ready in 20 minutes. I drove to my local Rosati’s in Lindenhurst Illinois 20 minutes later and picked up my piping hot thin crust, 4 topping Pizza! Everyone at the counter was friendly. I didn’t have to wait because it was ready as was promised and I was a happy camper! If you live in the neighborhood I recommend going there, you won’t be disappointed. Yummy!!!??????“

“Sweet Melissa's Pizza and Pub was a great place to stop for a beer and food. Inside was really nice with lots of tv's. Meatball Sandwich was a monster. I had to cut the meatballs in half just to handle it. Meatballs were just ok. Parmesan Fries, Italian Egg Rolls and the soup were all delicious. The Chicken Tenders were just average. Very friendly and professional staff.“

“My family and I came in at a busy time. We were a big group. And order was confusing because we all wanted different check. I'm not going to go into all the details. However I do want to say Sara the manager was AWESOME! She came and listened to our concerns and fixed the problem. I just loved the way she handled the situation with care. “Wanted something different for Christmas Eve so I headed down from WI to carry -out a Chicago Classic, uncut, of course. This has been our go-to pie since we discovered that butter-crust and just the way it makes it home, still hot and juicy. Quite busy tonight. Staff was great and very friendly. Even saw a few help carry out to cars when one trip wouldn't cut it. Always a pleasure to come down for Lou's!!“

“I've been trying to find a decent NY Style pizza slice since forever. I'm usually a tavern square cut thin guy but over time I've become an NY Style guy. I've finally found the spot that us more than decent, CORNICIONES! Chicken Parm was exceptional. Also got ice cream for the kids and a Snicker Cheesecake for myself. This place is so good. “This place is outstanding! The food is great and so are all the people who work there. I have been there when the service is a little slower but the atmosphere and the bartender make the difference. I have eaten there many times for lunch and dinner and it never disappoints, and they do a good takeout too. I regularly go there for lunch with my mom, she loves it! When people come to visit we always go to Oliverii for at least one meal. It is a DO NOT MISS location in this cute town.“

“First time patron, but passed by many times. In all honesty, I decided to pick up lunch on way to grandsons soccer game. Had gone to two other establishments before this one (others closed for some reason). Was pleasantly surprised. Order wasn't spectacular, Chicago dogs and fries ( but lots). While waiting, overlooked menu which was quite large. If everything is as good as hotdogs and fries, I'll be back. Thought prices were very reasonable.“
