Great place to go for lunch or dinner. Their staff is always friendly and courteous. Plenty of home made options at reasonable prices. If you are in the area, don't hesitate to give them a try.

Shout-out to Kim's Place for the exceptional service and food! Sooo accommodating. We called day of to ask whether they could accommodate a collegiate athletic team of 23 for dinner. Not only were they willing to help, they reserved an entire room for us along with providing two (2) beyond amazing waitresses. The food arrived hot, freshly made, and was beyond delicious. If you haven't been to Kim's Place you are missing out!!! Kim's Place is a Mom and Pop style Cafe offering home style cooking. The menu offered plenty of meal options from appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, salads, soups, seafood to desserts. To top it off, the owner even donated 2 dozen donuts to our athletes from Kim's Other Place. Needless to say, Kim's Place is now our go to anytime we're in town. Definitely 5+ stars ? ?????Parking: Large designated parking lot directly across from restaurant with plenty of parking spots available.

We were traveling from St. Louis to Detroit. We got hungry and decided to try something local. We found a diamond in the rough! It's called Kim's Place. The owner gave us donuts and extra drink refills to go! The chili was like my grandmother made it! The steak was seasoned to perfection! I could see it was well liked by the regulars, because the staff knew them by name! If you ever get a chance, I highly recommend it! ?Parking: I parked right in front of Kim's Place.Kid-friendliness: Yes, it was a family with kids dining!Wheelchair accessibility: Yes,

The wheelchair, ridden by the deafblind person was able to get into the building with the assistance of 2 others. The owner met another deafblind fellow and made an effort to communicate. ?The restroom were accessible. The rye bread was especially yummy.Thanks.Wheelchair accessibility: Was requiring 2 other persons to hold the door for the deafblind wheelchair person to travel through.Restroom was accessible with bars to aide with transferring.

Terrible food, with no flavor whatsoever, poor service with very unprofessional service people who were loud and eating while they served customers, the tables are not very clean, I would not recommend this place to anyone at all. It was my first and last time visiting this place.

Good service and amazing breakfast! Their breakfast horseshoe with ham and gravy is the best I've ever had.

I was passing through Jacksonville for a few days. I found this place for breakfast. The breakfast was very good. I had a Western Omelet, a simple meal, nothing fancy. The decaf coffee was very good. The server never came back to ask how was the meal, was there anything else I wanted, or even to offer me more coffee. I had to ask for more coffee. However, she was asking other people.

Would give more stars if they'd bring back the biscuits and gravy that didn't taste like it came out of a can. Norma's (previous owner) biscuits and gravy used to be craved quite often by me, so I was disappointed when I tried Kim's.Everything else I've had have been good. The staff is friendly, and the food is reasonably priced.

Seemed like a nice enough place... Sat there for ten minutes before someone came over... And when I told her I'd been sitting there a while she just rolled her eyes and walked away from me. Would find somewhere else if you want decent service. Called and told the manager about what happened and she called me a liar then hung up on me. They have a POW and American flag hanging outside but they don't seem to care about veterans. Also I saw a waitress come outside and take a few huge rips off her vape then walk back inside and continue to serve customers without even washing her hands. The place also has a very dumpy unkempt atmosphere. Yikes... Go somewhere else!
