No frills, no alcohol, just a very nice variety of choices for dinner. I settled on the 8 oz. pork chop, baked potato, salad, and cup of vegetable beef soup. This meal was under $20. I have paid $50 plus while on the road and quality was not as good as this meal. Not much of an atmosphere, more like a diner type restaurant. The server was on the ball and had the food out in a timely manner. Next time I am through Jacksonville will make sure to go to Rudi's again. I rate restaurants...read full review
We ordered take out fairly late Friday night. My daughter and I ordered the pork chop dinner. They were so tender and tasty. It came with 2 sides. The vegetable was green beans. And I was pleased to see that they weren’t plain, but with onions and bacon. My mashed potatoes and gravy were a generous serving. Nice place, well lit and spacious, menu is very good for a restaurant this size and presentation.Food is your average kind with a twist of excellence. Fairly priced, the resto has a bunch of nice people tending to another bunch of nice people. Highly recommended.
