McCarry’s is a family fave. I remember my parents and grandparents taking my siblings and I up there when we were kids. The new owners are doing awesome - adding several new options to the menu including seasonal items, keeping it open year round, opening the dine in area, making specials of the week, supplying Ginger Bean cupcakes, and making a menu that you can actually look at.
The new dine-in area is great. It was well worth stopping in during a long walk to cool off, rest, and get something to eat. The PB Explosion parfait was awesome!
Best Ice cream around Jerseyville. Only complaint is.30 cent sir charge for using a Credit or Debit Card. Plus now they have raised their prices. The prices were already somewhat high to begin with.
