“Went to attend a two day concert event there. Was greeted by the Sargent of Arms and later on by the VP. Great group of bikers. The lodge is very big. The bar is huge, with plenty of seating at and around it. Great food, the smell will definitely hook ya to get a nibbler. Nice size stage and dance floor. Very nice lay out. Never been in there, until this event came up. I would most definitely go back there again. Great people and welcoming. Good times and fun. Give it a whirl, and check it out... Don't think you'll be disappointed by any means. Good show guys ?hope to see ya again. ?✌️“

“I totally enjoy the skill of all the wait staff, their ability to inform, enjoy conversation, and do the run down on what the band is like. Owners Tom & Karen are gregarious, fun, interesting people and provide GREAT talented local musicians. The music scene in Wauconda, Illinois is 10 out of ten...bar hopping encouraged. French Martini with Chambourg, an 11 and one drink, my limit...usually. Dancing...FUN! Especially when Karen agrees. Lol. And occasionally, or perhaps too often singing back up to Motown song fulfills my fantasy to be a Temptation, a Top, Little Stevie Wonder, or Marvin Gaye & Tammy Terrell. And yes, the Jackson 5. But there's no mountain higher than backup to a Supremes song, except for a Diana song, or Tina is Simply The Best! But Diana's he PEAK, & so is STRAWBERRY MOON. CHECK IT OUT. WAKANDA FOREVER, on Main Street“

“We love Steve's! Steve and Rita are the best, and so is the bartender Liz! It's one of our favorite places to hang out and play some darts. The backyard in the summer is beautiful, your surrounded by flowers, with a beautiful wooden swing and volleyball court. Definitely should check it out.“

“We stopped there on a charity motorcycle ride. Staff was friendly, place was nice. We ate there as well. Food was great however should have been someone watching supply as well as the people who did not pay for food (we had wristbands to track). It was sad to see people who didn't pay the $10 for a wristband, come and eat $30 worth of food. While people who paid had to sit and wait some i belive waited a while.
THEN after like 30-40 min there the waitress was checking for bands. (Too little to late sadly) the older dark haired lady (chef? Manager?) Was very sweet and did her best to get food out. Tasty for sure!!

The staff especially Max was such a great help in making sure the place was set up to our liking. We had so many people say how nice the place was and they never knew it was there. “You know growing up i loved watching the TV Show 'Cheers'. The theme song says something about 'a place where everyone knows your name'... well that describes Bliss Wine Lounge for sure. No, they aren't a big bar like in Cheers, they are a local wine bar with a wide variety of wines for every budget. And the owner, Alex takes the time to connect with each of the patrons and quick to make a recommendation of a wine you will like. It's not fancy but you will feel welcome for sure. They will have live music from time to time and if you join the Wine Club you will get to experience a variety of unique wines that you wont find at the big wine stores. My wife and I love this place.“

“Stayed there in Summer 2022. Very clean, and even though our room was near the bar we did not have trouble sleeping. Gorgeous sunrise views. We did not get the email with the code so could not check in at check in time, so we had to wait an hour or 2. Not a huge deal. The bigger deal was the neighbor with the F… Biden sign (in her front yard) coming onto the property making guests uncomfortable.“

“Famous Chain of Lakes boat bar catering to the more adventurous and slightly wilder and more uninhibited crowd. The bar itself is basically a staging point and watering hole to have a quick drink before heading out to Blarney Island in May through September, and outside those months it's otherwise a pretty quiet routine bar. Before you go out to the island though, you really, really MUST check what's going on out there, as some of the weekend theme parties are definitely not to some people's taste, and you will either love it or hate it.“

“What a delightful spot. Just what you want in a neighborhood bar. Stop by and meet some new friends. Love this place EXCEPT when someone jacks up the jutebox at 4 in the afternoon when everyone else is watching the news. We just left. Not everyone has your taste in music.“
