“I love this place! The people behind the bar and the customers are friendly. I’ve been there 4 different times. New Years Eve I went there with my daughter, she’s 42, we had a blast! I went there another time and they had 3 bands playing rock and roll. They were all great! I got people up dancing and then we really starting having a really great time! Another time I stopped in after church. I didn’t know anyone but everyone there felt like we were friends for years. Sorta like the TV show “Cheers”. I had a great time every time I was there. Again, I love this place!“

“Visited during lunch of Veterans Day and had one of their free meals. The experience was one of the best. I do have to give a shout out to the floor manager/supervisor. It was amazing to see how engaged he was in the floor operation. From seating people, to filling drink orders, and wiping tables he was on it. Thank you for a great meal, and I appreciate what you do for Veterans each year.“

“There is nothing about this place I don't recommend. The meads are amazing, their Cocktail Master is amazing at coming up with unusual combinations, and is great fun to talk to. The music mix is great as well (but possibly because I'm old 😁)! Overall, the place is extremely welcoming, with a selection of games and sofas so you can sit and enjoy your drinks and socialize.“

Owners Tom & Karen are gregarious, fun, interesting people and provide GREAT talented local musicians. The music scene in Wauconda, Illinois is 10 out of ten...bar hopping encouraged. French Martini with Chambourg, an 11 and one drink, my limit...usually. Dancing...FUN! Especially when Karen agrees. Lol. And occasionally, or perhaps too often singing back up to Motown song fulfills my fantasy to be a Temptation, a Top, Little Stevie Wonder, or Marvin Gaye & Tammy Terrell. And yes, the Jackson 5. “Bliss is a great spot to meet up with friends for a glass of wine or craft beer. It is a very chill atmosphere. The ownership has switched hands a few times. The current owner- Alex, is great. He is attentive and fun to chat with. I’m a big fan and will continue to hang out there when I’m in Wauconda.“

The staff especially Max was such a great help in making sure the place was set up to our liking. We had so many people say how nice the place was and they never knew it was there. The place needs to at least have a sign that says firehouse! It just looks like a plain white house, my friends have had a hard time trying to find it.
