✨ WOW—Forno Pizza absolutely blew us away! ✨
My two teenagers and I had an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. The service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food? Fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a slice of heaven!
We sat at the pizza bar, which turned out to be a total highlight. Watching the chefs work their magic right in front of us made it feel like we were getting dinner and a show—flames, fresh dough, and pure artistry!
It was our first visit, but definitely not our last. Forno has officially earned a spot on our family favorites list. 🍕🔥

Rating 3.5 stars Had to meet up with someone in this town and found this place on Yelp with averagely good reviews so I decided to go there. The place is not that big, has approximately 6 tables and seats at the counter bar. We arrived at about 8PM knowing that the place closes at 9PM but we were hoping they would give us some time to eat past 9PM like 10-15 minutes. Once we sat down we were told that last order is at 8:15PM. So we placed orders quickly and the food didn’t take too long. Around 10 minutes before 9PM, they came by and asked if I wanted a box to go. That made me feel like they wanted us out right on the dot which is a bit disappointing. Another disappointing thing is that they overcharged the taxes and also charged the tip on the taxes which I found out about that after we’ve left the place. Food wise, the taste was not bad but nothing was special. Our waiter was pretty attentive, he came by to check on us multiple times. Maybe he was trying to get us out lol idk 🤷♀️.

Pizzas were all delicious. We ordered 4 different styles. Appetizer was good as well. One person in our party ordered the chicken parm sandwich with vodka sauce. 2 huge pieces of chicken breast, it was over the top, point on. And the Italian churro dessert was the perfect cap to the meal.

I made a reservation on their website which is handled by a 3rd party app called Toast. This would have been our second time but our reservation was not honored. We were told a larger party had walked in and they had to give our table to them. We were 10 minutes early so there was no reason to give our table away other than they didn’t care about actually accepting and confirming our reservation 2 hours earlier. Turns out our first visit there will be our last. We will never return to a place that would do that.

Love their food here! It’s one of my favorite spots to go when I’m in town. They did just change their menu recently and I will say their old gnocchi was better in my opinion but if you like less cheese and more of a savory taste you would like their new one! Although, I do hope the old gnocchi does return eventually I was able to find something new I love on their menu! I highly recommend their rigatoni pasta and margarita pizza!

What a great addition to Joliet to counteract the numerous chain restaurants! Came in with friends while I was visiting from California, and everything was great. Servers were very attentive, good drink options, numerous food options depending on what you're in the mood for, and a cozy atmosphere. Everyone at my table liked all of their food and drinks ordered. Would return when I'm back in town!

NYE dining was perfect - not crowded, not rushed, great food & great service. All the staff was welcoming & attentive. We ordered Seafood Risotto & Pistachio Crusted Halibut. Both entrees were delicious & healthy, cost $24 ea entree. This restaurant is a hidden gem. We will definitely dine here again, so many good options on the menu.
