Wow. Wow!! I didn’t even know pizza could feel so good. The quality of ingredients and whatever process they’re using made this one of the best pizza experiences I’ve ever had. And nothing was sacrificed on service or environment either. We got 2/3 one of the pizzas and had to order another. Phenomenal food.

If you're looking for true Neapolitan coal fired pizza in the SW suburbs, FORNO pretty much sticks to the VPN rules out there with their perfect moisture content of the dough. They have to watch the char a little more closely but I like a good char to my dough. This Neapolitan pie is all flop but aren't they all? I'm looking for that crispy chewy perfect bite, but that's just me. The light San Marzano sauce is perfectly balanced and outstanding! One of the best sauces out there. I will never be a fan of a crumble sausage and the cheese fell short.
Ignore the 3.5 star review, as if you plan to eat out, be cognizant and respectful of the kitchen and establishment closing times. This place is the bomb!

Our server was so nice and patient in explaining some of the items on the menu. We ordered the calamari appetizer, 4 cheese pizza with soppressata, and Gnocchi with braised short rib sauce. Gnocchi was my favorite. Can’t wait to come back and try more stuff.

I’m new to the Joliet area and I was craving some Italian food. My niece recommended Forno, she said I wouldn't be disappointed. She was absolutely right! The food was delicious and entire staff was welcoming and friendly. I ordered the Rigatoni pasta and a glass of Pinot Noir. Will definitely be coming back!
