Very disappointed in this place. Over charging for food and drinks. Food has become very sloppy and lack taste.

It was the worst meal I have had, no taste at all! Wanted a beer and told them no lime and guess what the beer came with a lime! Told them wanted another one brought the beer and all they did was take out the lime and bring it back! Don’t think we can taste that, come on people. We will not be back again!

They started charging a credit card fee. I will not go here anymore. Raise your prices if you need to cover your costs, oh wait you might lose customers. And you lost me.

I just want to say, maybe people say this and that about the food not being authentic but I had the habanero steak and even tho it wasn’t spicy enough, it was authentic. I grew up in Mexico until I was 23 and have visited 27/31 states in Mexico, I am a foodie and know about authentic mexican cuisine and at least the dish I had, it was authentic. I will definitely come here again.

this place is better for non authentic costumers. the service was good. the food was horrible. i tried the chicken in mole. chicken was burnt outside but felt rubbery inside. the mole was horrible. i’m used to spicy mole. it was too sweet and tasted like soap. i hated it. the margaritas were good. no doubt. id only ever drop by again for a drink. never again for a meal. their shrimp and carne sucked my kabobs at home are better than this restaurants and better grilled. i like to wonder how places make their food never think “eating at home would’ve been better”. i will never return for food. but i would for a drink. our server was good. and definitely not the busy mexicans restaurants we’re used to. their costumers mostly looked like non authentic mexicans which explains their decent reviews. disappointed i traveled 40 mins on highway to try them to be served an undercooked but burnt chicken breast chopped into pieces. def not worth $19 and better yet to eat in very low music. if you plan to charge higher end prices they should at least have better lighting and music and more of a reel mexican vibe than what they offer.

About a month ago I ordered a taco dinner with flour tortillas and no cheese on the tacos. I got home and there was cheese on the tacos and corn tortillas.
I called to complain and said I'm not bringing it back and they gave me credit for a free dinner next visit.
I went back today to order a taco dinner with no cheese and flour Tortillas.
Told her that I have a credit from a previous incorrect order, but told her I ended up eating it so I don't need the credit.
I got home with my order and there was cheese on the tacos again. This time I brought it back and told them there is cheese on the tacos. They apologized and made another order.
She handed me the bag and said no cheese.
I got to the car checked the order and no cheese but, they now were made with corn tortillas.
I went back in and she asked what is wrong and I told her they made them with corn tortillas. I requested a refund and asked to speak to the manager. She said there is no cheese on them, I said I know but now they made them with corn tortillas.
Good food, but the mistakes of the orders don't make up for it.

I Ordered 2 shrimp tacos. Where's the shrimp? I literally had 2 shrimps on each taco. I wish I could of been allowed to post a photo of it....insulting!

Delicious authentic Mexican food on the west side of Joliet, they have combo plates, lunch and drink specials if you're looking to save some money or if you want to try a little bit everything! If weather permits they have outdoor seating too.
