Impressed! Delicious food, wonderful staff, fair prices and a welcoming atmosphere. Joliet is lucky to have this gem! The construction in the surrounding area shouldn't count against it, but it does take away from the ambiance slightly- please don't let that deter you. Run here!

Intimate but beautiful space with a bar in front and tables in the back. It was early when we visited and the service was very attentive. After we ordered drinks we were offered complimentary shots of ouzo. Nice touch. We had the meatball appetizer, which was very tasty. I tried the seafood with orzo. The calamari, octopus, and shrimp were all prepared well and tasted good. The orzo was perfect. A great dish. I'm glad I tried it. A good place to visit when in Joliet or before a visit to the Rialto. Give it a try!

Last Wednesday evening my wife and I went out with a couple of our friends to this very fine beautiful Greek establishment.
Our friends had eaten here before and told us very good things about it so we thought we'd all give it a try. On that note, I'm so glad we did!
Right from the very start, they have a friendly wonderful staff. From the hostess, to the bartender, to the wait staff, AWESOME service!
Mousa has very beautiful decor in and around the whole entire restaurant. I was very impressed. Very clean, and well maintained.
So we started off with a couple drinks and then ordered some very tasty appetizers!
Tyrokafteri and Tzatziki I highly recommend both of them very well presented and very good!
After some more conversation and drinks we ordered our dinner.
My wife ordered the mouth watering beef kabobs with a side of Greek fries! I tasted hers and it was out of this world! Highly recommended!
I ordered the Gyros Lamb platter with a side of Truffle parmesan fries! If you love Gyros, these are some of the very best around!!!
Overall, we were all very satisfied and pleased with this establishment from the atmosphere, to the service, to the food five stars across the board!!!
If you have not been to Mousa, I highly recommend and suggest you get down there and enjoy some drinks, some great atmosphere and some amazing food!!!

Went to Mousa for our anniversary. We started with cocktails and complimentary ouzo, then had keftedes (Greek meatballs), with mains of tygania (pork tenderloin) and youvetsi me thalassemia (seafood in orzo). Finished with lemon creme cake. Lots of leftovers.
Food was excellent and plentiful, presented beautifully on the plate; service was pleasant and attentive.
Would highly recommend, and will definitely go back.

We ate here yesterday for our anniversary and it was delicious. The service was amazing and the food was so good. We started with the hummus, I got the red wine sangria (which was the best I’ve ever had) and then we got the platter to share and had tons of left overs for lunch the next day.
Happy 57th Birthday to me! Birthday meal - Hades Old Fashioned, Camamarakia Tyganita ( Fried Canamari) Horiatiki Traditional Greek Salad 🥗 Keftedakia Kokkinista ( Lamb meatballs over rice ) and Turtle Cheesecake. My server Shea was awesome and knowledgeable of the menu. Definitely returning

Stumbled upon this place by chance as we are not from Joliet. I am so happy we came here. The food is great and our server was a total delight. We’ll definitely drive out the 30 minutes to eat here again.
