I made a purchase with my visa and was asked to show my liscense. Has anyone else been asked this once they made an order at this location?

Cute building on old Route 66! We stopped and ordered two small chocolate cones and paid about $6.50. It was a darker ice milk chocolate type product than creamy soft serve, and the flavor remained me of Tootsie Rolls. The man who served us was friendly. I read that city leaders restored Rich & Creamy back to its retro appearance from its heyday, and it has a good nostalgic flair. I noticed they had butterscotch shakes and I was tempted by that but stuck with something lighter. Kids cones were just 77 cents!

We didn't taste the ice cream, but this is an iconic Route 66 location, don't pass by.

Great ice cream. It has statuses of the men in black on the roof. From the movie, men in black.

Great to have an ice cream on this spot on a very sunny day! Felt like an oasis!

Popular place for treats, and great variety of flavors.

Great, historic ice cream place on Route 66 in Joliet. There is a large parking lot next door and picnic tables in back. Great ice cream! Lots of choices on the menu! Wonderful service!

So many different options & it's always delicious every time. Plus with reasonable prices you can't go wrong with that.

It's always nice to go out for ice cream.

The guy working the counter is super rude.. I watched a car pull up on the side of the building so an elderly couple could get out and walk to the counter and order and the first thing he yelled was you can park there to them and wouldn't take their order until the car they came in moved.. there were no cars in the route 66 parking lot off Broadway..next to the ice cream shop.. my guess it was to shorten their walk across a hot parking lot..

Its fine. The ice cream is fine. The toppings are fine. The sundae is really just ice cream with a topping. Without whipped cream and a cherry, is it still a sundae?
