Great, historic ice cream place on Route 66 in Joliet. There is a large parking lot next door and picnic tables in back. Great ice cream! Lots of choices on the menu! Wonderful service!
The ice cream here is super tasty, they have lots of flavors and treat options and the prices are comparable or slightly below other premium places. It wasn't busy when we arrived but there was a line when we left so timing is everything as far as order speed. Overall recommended!

Cute building on old Route 66! We stopped and ordered two small chocolate cones and paid about $6.50. It was a darker ice milk chocolate type product than creamy soft serve, and the flavor remained me of Tootsie Rolls. The man who served us was friendly. I read that city leaders restored Rich & Creamy back to its retro appearance from its heyday, and it has a good nostalgic flair. I noticed they had butterscotch shakes and I was tempted by that but stuck with something lighter....read full review
