“This visit was a bit disappointing with the food. Very busy all seats were full. Even with it being that busy they kept the buffet full of food. There were a couple of choices that were not up to par. Perhaps it was that it had dried out in the buffet with people making other choices.Tuna noodle casserole was on target. Meatloaf is always a winner. BBQ Beef Ribs ?.“

“My boyfriend and I with his young daughter, took a drive to Keithsburg from Galesburg. We do this two or three times a year and eat at the Eagles Nest. On this particular Saturday, the place was rather busy. there was a gentleman bartending, serving and clearing tables all by himself. He was so efficient, friendly and he never flinched. My boyfriend and I were very impressed by his ability to keep it all under control and he did a fantastic job. I believe the day was March 2, a Saturday. We showed him our appreciation by tipping him rather well and told him he was doing a wonderful job. We do not know if he was the owner or a worker there but he was amazing and is a wonderful asset to that restaurant. We wanted to thank him, again, and wish him and the Eagles Nest all the best.
