“Was expecting more of a restaurant type environment that's on me, but it's a pretty good size bar. They have the weirdest deep fryer that's entirely enclosed and spits the cooked food out the side into a tray. The bartender was great and friendly, and despite burning my mouth a bit on the jalapeños poppers i could still tell the food was great, definitely on my list of places to go again.“

“We were seated very quickly and the waitress came out in about 5 minutes, took our drink order, brought it in about 10 but NEVER seen her again. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting we asked for a new server. They moved us to a new server and he was fantastic (wish I could remember his name). The sad part is the waitress didn’t have many tables and just kept disappearing. Anyways, she lost out on a $65 dollar tip. My husband had the meatloaf and said it was horrible!!! And he eats anything! River House has gone downhill since we were last there about year and half ago. No wonder they weren’t that busy last night and we got seated immediately“

Quad Cities Airport Deli Bar Bar & Grill •
Quad City International Airport, 2200 69th Ave, Moline

“If you're looking for a hassle-free travel experience, Quad Cities International Airport is a great option. As a midsized airport, it's rarely busy, which means you can breeze through check-in and security with ease. The airport is very quiet inside, making it a peaceful and relaxing place to wait for your flight. One of the best things about Quad Cities International Airport is the staff - they are incredibly friendly and always willing to help. Additionally, getting to and from the airport is easy, with plenty of parking and convenient transportation options. The only downside is that the TSA personnel can sometimes exhibit inflated egos and power trips. Like, calm down, sir, this isn't O'Hare. Put away the taser and let the 94 year old great grandmother take her arthritis pills with her. Overall, I highly recommend Quad Cities International Airport for anyone looking for a stress-free travel experience.“

“Our first visit to Moline to watch some Storm hockey for the weekend. We headed here twice for food and pre-game drinks Feb 2/3, 2024. Returned because it was so great the first time!VIPs is a great laid-back atmosphere for casual dining and cold beer! The burgers are amazing -- try the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger! It's the Saturday burger special and it's one of the tastiest I have ever had. Paired with onion rings... ? Soups were amazing as well, nice to have that option as a side. Our server was amazing, very attentive and friendly, even though she was run off her feet working an 18 hour shift! Thank you Lauri! This place should be your go-to before any Vibrant Arena event -- or anytime for that matter. Great value and awesome service. Did I mention cold beer and killer burgers?“

“We had Will from Hy-Vee in Moline (Avenue of the Cities) cater our wedding food. Will is very knowledgeable of the policies, options, and how to cater large events, yet he was still able to make us feel like we were his only customer. We did a food tasting and he was great with feedback and helped us come up with food options that worked for us. As we got closer to the wedding, it was easy to work on timing, planning, and payment with him. The food was great! The service was great! We even had guests complimenting on the food options and the staff that were catering that day. They were very personable and treated all guests as people, not just numbers. We would recommend reaching out to Will for catering from Hy-Vee for your catering needs!“

“We arrived at 4pm on a Saturday with a large party of about 50. We had communicated this with the bar ahead of time and they reserved tables for us. The staff became overwhelmed when an additional 30+ people arrived around the same time. They said they normally do not get that big of an influx of people. The 2 waitresses, 2 bar tenders, and 3 kitchen staff did an admirable job considering the circumstances. We were able to get drinks at the bar and eventually, everyone received their food order, and it was mainly correct. I have been on the service side of this circumstance and commend the staff for handling it as well as they did. The food was good and the drink prices were reasonably cheap.Kid-friendliness: Despite it being a bar, they do have a kid's menu with multiple options.“

“We had a terrific pickup experience for pizza here. We are new to the area and have been comparing pizza. We ordered an onion, sausage, pepper and mushroom pizza. The crust was very flavorful and baked to perfection. Staff was friendly and hustling to attend to everyone. The ground sausage is our preferred style, and sauce has a nice tangy, not sweet, flavor. The mushrooms didn't seem fresh and were likely canned, but this seems more typical for the area. Steel Plow Burger company will be on our repeat list!“
