“I had Chicken Piccata. It was exactly how I love to have it prepared (no breading). The lemony sauce was so perfect, I almost asked for a straw to get it all! (I didn't). Service was timely and made us comfortable. From the the Server to the busers. (Sp?) The space is quite compact. No one was jostled but it was a bit noisy for us. None-the-less, I highly recommend Giannis. Thanks for an excellent dining experience!“

“Absolutely amazing new restaurant in Rolling Meadows. Have been there twice now, once for dine in, and the food was so good I got carry out for dinner only a few days later! Service is impeccable, the weekly specials are delicious, and everything tastes fresh and homemade. You can’t go wrong with anything you order. 10/10!“

“Great atmosphere, great service, Johanna was amazing and very attentive. We had a bottle of Pinot Noir which was very very good, their meatballs appetiser, which my husband was a huge fan of, even though he doesn’t like ricotta that much. Unfortunately, all of the seafood in my pasta was very overcooked and the clams were so tiny, you can’t event taste them. We still enjoyed our time at this restaurant, but if we come again, I would not order any seafood here.“

“My first time in Illinois, and we came across Francesca's randomly. The hospitality and food are both excellent! Kenny was a great server and all others who served us! My mom LOVING the Linguine and Clams is an understatement. She's obsessed! Unfortunately, I'm headed back to California now. Thanks for a great experience! Til next time!“

“Happen to find this little gem while waiting for a tow truck for my boyfriend‘s truck today. I was thinking Subway, but then I found this. I am so glad that I walked in there, and that she talked me into the focaccia Capri style. The foot-long is massive the sandwiches, and the meats are phenomenal and the service could not have been better, I don’t care if I live 40 minutes from here I’m coming back !!“

“Stopped by on a week night for dinner with a friend. The restaurant feels spacious since the tables are not situated too closely. The server was friendly and helpful.I ordered the pasta with oxtail. It was delicious, full of tender meat and light pasta. I ordered the chocolate tiramisu to go. It too was full of chocolatey richness. If I was in the neighborhood I'd definitely return to try their other dishes.“

“Hands down one of the best restaurants I've been to. A beautiful place with a great vibe. They have a bar in the main dining area which is great if you're looking to hangout after dinner. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and fun! Every dish we had was SPECTACULAR!!!. We ordered about 8 dishes and every single one was delicous. You can tell they use high quality products/ingredients. Lastly, the price we paid for this 10 STAR experience was too low in my opinion. I would easily pay triple the amount for this place. We'll be going back very soon. Maybe this weekend! ;) 10 STARS for Bar Salotto!!!“

“Truly a family-owned, family-run and family-centric establishment. We've witnessed them grow since they opened in 1999, and their craft is perfected. Whether you want a quiet date night with some ridiculously delicious pasta and wine; or a coffee and Gelato; or a quick lunch of a sandwich, pizza or arancini and pasta salad... you can't go wrong. They're expert caterers and you won't have to worry about a thing if you're hosting an event of any kind. Love!“

“Family took me here for my birthday. I think I first visited this same location for my 13th birthday over 45 yrs ago and several times in between. Pizza I my favorite of all time! We had a sausage, pepperoni, The Lou, and a hot honey pepperoni - everything was great! They even stored and served cake!“

“This photo doesn’t do this pie justice. This is exactly what I have been looking for. Dynamite Chicago pizza! What can I say, the slices are thin crisp & spot on. Sauce is just right with a little acidity and tastes like tomatoes, not overpowering herbs. Good quality cheese blend of mozzarella & provolone. You can tell they make that sausage in house with the fennel and nice big chunks. This is what Chicago pizza is all about. I’ll be back.“

“This is one of the best little family owned Italian restaurants! Enjoyed a great family dinner. Not rushed like other places today. Food was phenomenal and pricing very reasonable for the high quality of the food and the extras. Great service. Will be back when I am up in the area again.“

“If you want great Italian Chicago style food this is where you go. It's a nice inviting Pizza restaurant. The food from beefs, pizzas, spaghetti and meatballs. It's all good. My favorite is the meatball sandwich on garlic bread. The manager Emily is great and friendly. She takes care of catering as well. If you need a party setup ask for Emily. This place is the only place around making all their Italian food by hand. It's ran by an old Italian guy that keeps the food just right! “Had lunch in...chicken parmesan was dry, not enough sauce, chicken tasted old, didn't like. Would have liked ice water at table rather than having to purchase $2 bottles of water. Bread was excellent. Paid and tipped, but no table service, so not sure why.Cannolis that we took to-go for a birthday were fantastic. Rosemary focaccia to-go, also great.“

“I grew up eating Lou’s. Never had another deep dish. And I’ll never get tired of it. They can get busy especially on the weekends but you can order your pizza ahead while you wait. It’s best to reserve if you can. My favorites (besides the classic) are their Buffalo wings, calamari, pasta, and can’t forget the cookie skillet. Always had a great experience.“

“I can't understand the negative reviews. I brought my three girls here for lunch and we had an amazing lunch! We last dined here about a year ago. The service was incredibly fast, the fried calamari was delicious, and the pizza was amazing. My picky eater asked for four more meatballs after devouring the first three that came on her spaghetti. I decided to try the soup/sandwich combo. It was so difficult to choose a sandwich because they ALL sounded amazing. I was very pleased with the Italian sandwich with the asparagus soup. I wish I would have brought a quart of the soup home for my husband to enjoy. The ingredients are fresh and everything tastes wonderful. I am already looking forward to our next visit!!“

“We were in Arlington Heights for a memorial service and looking for a nice dinner. So glad we found this neighborhood gem. The parking lot was scary with work being done but we didn't let that discourage us and I am so glad. The complementary bread basket with focaccia was delicious. All dinners come with soup or salad. My husband was delighted with his the lobster ravioli topped with lobster sauce and sauteed shrimp. I loved my veal Marsala. For the quality and quantity of food, it was more than reasonable. We live 45 minutes to an hour from there but, we will be back.“

“Excellent pizza! The sauce is not sweet but savory with proper seasoning. Their thin crust is so good that if I move away, I would drive hours to come back regularly. “I recently went here with my family after a colleague of mine, recommended it. The first course that we had was calamari, and they were much larger pieces than I'm accustomed to, and the breading was a little bit soggy however, the second appetizer we ordered was clams, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The rest of our meals were outstanding, and we will definitely be coming back on a sidenote from a service perspective I came with my wife and three children, one of which is eight months old. The hostess or manager offered for us to sit in a private room for the door that closes as there was some music in the background. Exceptional food, exceptional service, and exceptional people.!“

“just ate dinner here with my family and had a great experience! did not take photos of my meal but will detail everything. ambiance: very small, close space inside with tiny tables. they could not fit everything we ordered on our tiny two top. restaurant interior was very clean but kind of boring. really happy that they found space our stroller. service: host, servers, and busboy were all very attentive and accommodating. however, everyone was frantically running around in a very manic fashion. the small restaurant was decently busy on a Friday night, but i did not enjoy“

“We love JJ Twigs. The pizza is always hot and fresh and they have really good sauce & cheese. The beef sandwich with cheese on garlic bread is hands down the best around. “Definitely one of the top 5 pizza slices I have ever had. The jumbo slice is not only the biggest slice I have had, they have to cut it in half for you to really enjoy. I had the garlic dressing for the salad and it was amazing. I can't wait to try out the other items in menu. Best of all the workers are really nice, I Think it maybe a family owned business where you get that personal attention unlike corporate restaurants. Definitely going again.“

“Loved SLYCE Pizza. My wife and I are big fans of coal-fired pizza. Where I'm from in the NYC tri-state area, the best Italian food is in neighborhood family tavern restaurants and those thin crust tavern pies are cooked in super hot ovens. SLYCE brings it all back. Quality ingredients, great suggested combinations, good service and pleasant ambience. There's a lot of pizza choices in Chicagoland and we drive 25 minutes to SLYCE. There must be at least 100 pizza joints in the 25 mile radius. I'll take SLYCE. Keep up the great work!“

“I’m not big on reviews, but these guys absolutely deserve one. I would post a picture of the food but I ate it too fast before writing this. Their tortas are not on the list to review, but they’re low-key a “hidden gem” here. By hidden I mean they’re on the back page of the menu but if you choose to get them, you will not be disappointed. They’re loaded to the brim, packed with flavor, and the bread is crispy and everything you want out of your torta filling holder. I’ll be trying their pizza next, as the single slices were top tier. They seem like super genuine people who care about their customers and I can’t recommend stopping by for a bite enough.“

“I just dined here for the 3rd time (Tues. 3/26)! My favorite server --Kevin (formerly the #1 most-requested server at nearby French bistro, D&J) -- did a great job, once again, with taking care of me! For appetizer, I had the Kaluga Caviar again! For entree, I had the 22 oz. Bone In Ribeye (DELICIOUS) with side orders of creamed spinach and polenta -- all were spectacularly DELICIOUS!!! For dessert, I had the Key Lime Pie to go (I was so very stuffed by then)! Overall, my 3rd time here was an EXCELLENT experience! I definitely plan on coming back, of course!!! *****“

“I enjoyed my first time eating at Maggiano's. We celebrated my sis in law's birthday there. We ordered chicken entrees and pastas. The servings were enormous and they even have an option to order take home for a cheaper price. We tried their desserts-- the New York style cheesecake was just okay but their Tiramisu was so good. Since it was a birthday lunch, they served a piece of Tiramisu with a lighted candle for the celebrant. We were so full and still had lots of take-homes..Kid-friendliness: There were some toddlers from another table and saw that they were seated on a high chair and looked comfortable. The placement of tables and chairs were not cramped so the kids could somehow run around.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp at the entrance and the wheelchair could be freely pushed inside and fit into the dining area.“

“Been coming here for 15+yrs and it never disappoints. Great food and a great value in a world where everyone is jacking up their price to absurd levels. Have had catering done for a large party, have had delivery, and stopped in for food many times and it’s always been consistent and good food. This place hasn’t changed a bit for as long as I can remember and I mean that in the best possible way!“

“I love this place, and I've been going for over 10 years now. The manager might seem rough around the edges from time to time, but he's an extremely kind person. He just has a lot on his plate running a pizza place that's near and dear to so many people in and around the area. Thank you, Naps, for all you've done. “They struggled with some quality and employees issues a while back but they have really turned the ship around in the last couple of months. The owner got rid of the bad workers and improved the pizza products significantly. Their thin crust pizzas are now the best in the area and rival many places in Chicago. A buttery crust is topped with delicious sauce and cheese. The oregano-leaning seasoning is just about perfect and toppings are fresh and tasty. The workers greet you and are very polite.
