If you have kids in a van and you wear sweatpants, this is the place. Not at the level of Chicago downtown. Great choice if you’re in the suburbs. This is a wonderful place if your primary car is a van and if you have three kids. Strawberry Boba milk tea was very good a bit too sweet, but they were able to accommodate and water it down.
The broth has a good complexity to it. The noodles were a bit al dente and were thinner noodles. T-he star of the show was the pork chashu. It melted and fell apart very nicely in your mouth. Had the gyoza as well and that was cooked very well.
Checked out Aodake in La Grange for a birthday dinner and had a great experience. The atmosphere is super chill, the servers were so attentive and kind, and the food was fantastic. We ordered the dumplings and pork buns for appetizers which were very delicious. I had the spicy veggie ramen and it had the right amount of spice! We had sides of chicken and shrimp fried rice which were some of the best we ever had. My daughter ordered a watermelon milk boba tea that was very refreshing....
