Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings

First time here! Chicken was flavorful & juicy! Even the chicken with no seasoning had a great taste. Reasonable price, I paid about $48 for two adults & one child. The shake was not too sugary - definitely would come back! Just an fyi mild still has a bit of cayenne for those who don’t like anything spicy, I recommend plain.

decided to come and try this place and was super disappointed. We got 2 sandwich combos and the portions were so small, the fries were nothing special, honestly a little stale and not warm enough and they didn’t have much taste to them despite being seasoned pretty well. I’m not sure how they are cooking the food in the kitchen but the sandwich and fries could have been so much warmer, tasted like old food. The chicken was so oily and felt like biting into water basically. It wasn’t seasoned enough and overall tasted bad. The sauce was good that’s the only thing i enjoyed. It was so empty and dead in there which should’ve told me enough. You can get so much better food from dave’s hot chicken, cfa, burnin mouth, budlong chicken, and others. This place was not worth it at all , not worth the money or time. overall 2/10

It was my first time coming here. I ordered the tenders and waffle fries. They were good. I tried my friend’s Mac and cheese and it was terrible! Don’t order the Mac and cheese it taste cheaper than a box Mac and cheese. My boyfriend had the chicken and waffles. The waffle was fluffy but had no flavor like no sugar it was super plain. The bone-in chicken was better than the chicken tenders. We waited around 20 min for our food to arrive to the table. Overall it was ok being that it was my first time I’ll most likely give it another chance but order something different.

I wasn’t sure what to expect walking into Hangry Joe’s, but I left seriously impressed. The chicken was perfectly cooked crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned just right. I ordered the medium spice chicken sandwich, and it had just the right amount of kick without overpowering the flavor. The slaw and pickles added a nice crunch, and the bun held everything together without falling apart.The waffle fries were hot and well-seasoned, and I appreciated that everything came out fresh. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was clean and well organized. it’s actually good food. I’ll definitely be back to try more on the menu. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something flavorful, fast, and satisfying.

This place was empty, which should’ve been a sign. The chicken was not great, my sons couldn’t eat it. I ordered the Mac and cheese and when they forgot it and I asked about it, the staff said it was still in the microwave. It was macaroni noodle with very little melted cheese on top. Over priced. skip this one.

Food was really good. The loaded mac n cheese bowl and the #1 combo the chicken sandwich was really good. Customer service was good! He explained that the meat marinated every day. Food was fresh. Thanks.

portion size of waffle fries is too small and were not hot.
the wrap was good but too much and you don't get enough
portion size in general is awful at this location. also no Zabiha halal certification although they will verbally say it is. i'll believe they're not lying but its good to have it

First time trying Hangry Joe’s
Got the chicken and waffles combo that comes with 4 tenders and 4 waffles with syrup and their sauce on the side. DO NOT get the waffles, so hard and dry even the syrup didn’t help, in the garbage they went, I’m not even sure why they would serve that to anybody. Well, anywho, the chicken is very tender and juicy and you can chose your spice level. I went for medium spice and it was enough for me, but be daring! Service was accommodating. We will be back to try the sandwiches

Woman behind the counter asked if it was our first time ordering their chicken. It was, yes. She recommend we go with the mild spice. Thank you for the recommendation. It was great and not too spicy. I think if we had went one level higher, would be too spicy. Fountain drinks are very limited. Other reviewers complained about their food being cold. This was certainly not the case for us. Food came out piping hot and freshly cooked. The chicken bites was a favorite.
Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because drink selections are limited and the bone in wings plus the sauce could’ve tasted slightly better.

The Food is amazing! I got the chicken sando combo with a strawberry shake!
The chicken was seasoned (i went with the jalapeño heat level) to perfection and the size of the chicken sandwich was huge!
The waffles fries were the best i’ve ever had in my life! They’re seasoned!!
The strawberry shake was delicious!

Tried just an order of bites to start; medium was a little spicier than we like, but otherwise, it was good and we'll go back

Utterly disappointing. Food took 15+ minutes though we were 1 of 2 groups in the restaurant. The chicken felt so greasy, every bite felt like I was biting into a piece of chicken soaked in oil. Fries were nothing to brag about. Had high hopes, wouldn’t recommend.

Only reason I'm giving a 4 and not a 5 is because I want to come back and try more of the menu.

I got 12 dry rub wings (1 regular, 1 medium, w/ Hangry Joes dipping sauce)

I got them super fresh and they were great. Medium actually gives some good heat, but doesn't overpower the rub.

I wish they didn't add pickles on it, but it was no big deal from my end.

Will definitely be back to try their sandwich and other items.
