It’s really gross in here. We went yesterday and there is zero customer service. The guy cooking and checking out people is so rude! Not even a thank you or enjoy guys! Drops off food at table and leaves.. like a ghost.
The restaurant itself is filthy, dirty tables, carpet is sticky as you walk. There are no other customers in sight and should’ve guided ourselves with that— the place is empty! You can hear crickets; no music for ambiance.

Food… is gross extremely oily and you can hear most of is microwaved! We have food poisoning, stay out of there if you care about your stomach!
I try not to judge it based on who owns it, but they really need to retrain these people and teach them how to run a business… just taking precious room and space downtown Lagrange ! I would not go back! I will also be reporting the illness to a food inspector!!!!!

Not going tick for tack- but your server/cook/cashier— only asked us how was everything when we received our mango smoothies! Other than being rude and almost tossing our food at the table; he was nonexistent! Tables were sticky and wobbly, carpet is dirty and smells funky! Counters are dirty! It was gross in there! I wouldn’t even let a stray dog eat there!

“THAT SAID” Work on cleanliness and on better food handling! I guess customers request an updated food handlers on all employees!

This place left me feeling confused.

Walked in at 815 pm, when the place closes at 9 pm. I was told food was take out only. That was weird but ok.

Ordered spicy wings, which per the menu included celery.

Wings were delicious but were definitely not spicy. And no celery was to be found in my bag. That also left me feeling confused....🤷🏽‍♂️

Was hoping to have a pleasant sit down meal after working a full day. Ended up eating my meal in my car so my food wouldn't be cold once I got home.

And also confused why the food takes so long to cook. It's definitely freshly made, I suggest owners put a sign up indicating each order takes up to 20 minutes to make and that the dining room closes at 8 pm. Had I know those 2 items I would probably have gone somewhere else for dinner tonight.

I'll be back but earlier than 8 pm with plenty of time to enjoy my meal.

Grabbed this to go on a whim and really enjoyed what I had. Ordered medium and it was a good spice level, but if you are sensative to spice, I would opt for the mild as it was hotter than I expected. Their portions are great for the price too. Was worried when I saw waffel fries because you usually only get a handful, but their bag was loaded. Will be coming back for sure.

Not everything on the menu was available (no waffles which my kids were looking forward to), prices on the digital menu were not the actual prices charges (apparently they change them this week so it was written on a piece of paper), food took about 20 minutes (not sure if that’s normal but not what we were expecting) and overall it didn’t appear very clean with cleaning supplies and store room supplies in the dining area. Disappointing red.

First time here! Chicken was flavorful & juicy! Even the chicken with no seasoning had a great taste. Reasonable price, I paid about $48 for two adults & one child. The shake was not too sugary - definitely would come back! Just an fyi mild still has a bit of cayenne for those who don’t like anything spicy, I recommend plain.

decided to come and try this place and was super disappointed. We got 2 sandwich combos and the portions were so small, the fries were nothing special, honestly a little stale and not warm enough and they didn’t have much taste to them despite being seasoned pretty well. I’m not sure how they are cooking the food in the kitchen but the sandwich and fries could have been so much warmer, tasted like old food. The chicken was so oily and felt like biting into water basically. It wasn’t seasoned enough and overall tasted bad. The sauce was good that’s the only thing i enjoyed. It was so empty and dead in there which should’ve told me enough. You can get so much better food from dave’s hot chicken, cfa, burnin mouth, budlong chicken, and others. This place was not worth it at all , not worth the money or time. overall 2/10

It was my first time coming here. I ordered the tenders and waffle fries. They were good. I tried my friend’s Mac and cheese and it was terrible! Don’t order the Mac and cheese it taste cheaper than a box Mac and cheese. My boyfriend had the chicken and waffles. The waffle was fluffy but had no flavor like no sugar it was super plain. The bone-in chicken was better than the chicken tenders. We waited around 20 min for our food to arrive to the table. Overall it was ok being that it was my first time I’ll most likely give it another chance but order something different.

I wasn’t sure what to expect walking into Hangry Joe’s, but I left seriously impressed. The chicken was perfectly cooked crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned just right. I ordered the medium spice chicken sandwich, and it had just the right amount of kick without overpowering the flavor. The slaw and pickles added a nice crunch, and the bun held everything together without falling apart.The waffle fries were hot and well-seasoned, and I appreciated that everything came out fresh. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was clean and well organized. it’s actually good food. I’ll definitely be back to try more on the menu. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something flavorful, fast, and satisfying.

This place was empty, which should’ve been a sign. The chicken was not great, my sons couldn’t eat it. I ordered the Mac and cheese and when they forgot it and I asked about it, the staff said it was still in the microwave. It was macaroni noodle with very little melted cheese on top. Over priced. skip this one.
