“Met my 3 girl cousins + spouses for the Holidays menu online was intriguing and did not disappoint! Our only mistake was going too early 11:00am. It be way better for dinner. The potato pancakes were hot and crispy. The stuffed cabbage had a tasty mushroom gravy. The goulash soup was piping hot. Hot borsch with dumplings was yummy. Service was good too. We will be back!“
“I was brought back to my childhood favor food, delicious and amazing. And the taste was the same. Like it's name the garden, it is really a place where you are transported in memories through a good service and a great atmosphere. Words don't make justice to that place go see for yourself.“
“Un.be.lievable!! SO much food! So good! From the simple shredded cabbage salad to the chicken and sausage grilled to perfection, this wasn't a dinner - this was a feast! It was my first experience of pljeskavica, and simply long to be able to have it in my hometown. I brought some leftovers home, grilled a couple of buns in butter, and added onions and an aioli, and it was one of the most flavorful sandwiches I've ever had. The French fries were perfect as well. I couldn't eat another bite, and...what? Dessert? No, I couldn't possibly...crepes? Well, maybe a bite or two (yeah - finished it). This will DEFINITELY be on the list when we return to Chicago. What got me is this place is in Brookfield. My work had a conference at the Brookfield Marriott back in 2016, and we were looking for great local food places. At least we know about it now! Oh - and you must know how to speak Serbian. No English.“
“We discovered this place by accident when visiting the arcade next door. Me and my friends were dying for something hearty and decided to give it a try. The food was incredibly tasty and substantial. The portions were pretty sizable considering the pricing and the selection of beer was quite satisfying. There is something for everyone here so don't be shy to visit when you're in the neighborhood.I highly recommend the Cevapy.“
“Great food and service. We were looking for authentic Polish food and were not disappointed. The server was very attentive and came by often to see how we were doing. We had the goulash and the Pierogi's and both were excellent. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.“
“I will always shop here when I am in the area. Support your local Lithuanian businesses as much as possible. Fresh food in the deli, affordable as well. Lots of imported products to choose from along with some Belarusian, Polish, Russian, Latvian and Estonian products that are very hard to find elsewhere. Tegyvuoja Lietuva ??“
“When I say this place is good - I mean it! In my search for chicagolands best Balkan, Europe 22 has remained a consistent top contender. A low key spot, family owned , with focus on their craft! because of this I give Europe22 5 stars. But the 5 stars is dearer to my heart then just that,Great comfort food, nice variety! Quality tasty ingredients*Competitive pricing with great portions! This restaurants hovers right in the perfect section of pricing and portion/ingredient value.Overall:- Fries are on par w balkan tradition.- Kajmac is very good,- Soft bread, nice texture- fresh crisp veggies! I promise you won’t regret!)P.S.Call ahead, expect ab 1 hour wait. (Good food takes a while to prepare they’re always busy)“
“Great flavors in the dishes we ordered. My favorites include the Siberian Dumplings, breaded pork tenderloin and the schnitzels. I like all the schnitzels but I like the veal the best. The other entrees we enjoyed include Chicken Kiev and the pork shank. This is the place for Lithuanian food.“
“It's the best Lithuanian food around. You'd think it was made in your grandmas kitchen. Staff is friendly . They do run out so better call to reserve some food for a pick up because closer to the end of the day you won't be able to get it. Yummy , my whole family love it !“
“We’ve been to Marco’s a few times and have enjoyed our experiences. There is always a wide variety of thoughtfully prepared options to choose from in all categories, land and sea appetizers, entrees, several salads and desserts. Last night we had the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer which was delicious, the mahi mahi and shrimp with a delicious coconut based sauce. The strip steak was cooked perfectly and came with some lovely crisp veggies; unfortunately the steak was tough and almost stringy. The server asked if there was anything else I’d like which felt like the right thing to do. The servers are efficient but generally not warm and fuzzy. And the environment is very loud. Anyone with hearing issues wouldn’t be able to hear anyone else at their table without that person raising their voice considerably.“
