This is an awesome little place right off the river. Food was good and plenty of outside seating. It's a place that feels only locals would know about so it has that quality to it.

We tried Mr mikes for the first time before getting on the river. We both ordered Italian beef sandwiches and fries. Everything came out amazing and it was the most flavorful beef I’ve ever had! Highly recommend.

I’ve been going to Mr. Mikes places since 2019. From 2019-2021 it was amazing. The service was great, the food was great, the whole place was very clean. But since then, from 2022-present, it’s been a lot different. The service has gone downhill, we will call 3-4 times to get through at some points, when we do get food from here, they’re usually out of burgers or gyro meat or chicken strips. Soda fountain is completely out of order and has been for the last 5 months that we’ve come in. The tables have a sticky/greasy feel to them, yes it not supposed to be a 5 star restaurant, it’s just a little place to be able to get a bite to eat while out on the river. But even the food is questionable sometimes, you wonder if it’s going to go right through you or if you’ll break a tooth on the overcooked chicken strips.

Best Chicago style hot dogs in Central Illinois. Love the laid back atmosphere right by the boat ramp. One of our favorite destinations when out on the motorcycles. Their prices have gone up significantly, but so have everyone else's. Their prices on Google need updated.

I love this place! Every time I go through Lacon IL, I pray that Mr. Mike's is open. I believe they are a little pricy, but it is definitely worth it!

I have been coming here since I was a kid. I have always loved it. Food is always great. Italian beef is a must. I'm not sure what the other reviews have to say about the smokiness in the kitchen and what not but I have not had a problem with that. It does get hot in there so it's going to happen. They're making your food fresh. Would recommend this place to family and friends!
