Jefe’s Tacos is Lake Forest’s go-to taco hotspot!The food is fresh and delicious and the service is prompt and friendly. There's a variety of protein options and a ton of tasty toppings and sauces. I like their grilled chicken and grilled mushroom tacos with all my favorite toppings. SO delicious! Jefe’s offers family and party box options as well.When you walk into Jefe’s, it’s like an escape! Service here was okay, the menu was very limited to where we could only have tacos. They didn’t have other things we could have like rice. The food was good but expensive for just one taco. The chips were nice and homemade and the salsa was good. I don’t think I’ll come back here.
It was our first time at Jefe's Tacos and wow! Our tacos we're delicious. We ordered the carne asada and carnitas and we're very impressed. My husband got the street elote as a topping on his tacos and loved the flavor. We will be eating here vs our regular taco spot because the food is so much better.
