What really leaves a bad taste in my mouth are hidden fees. 18% for all to go orders + 3% “restaurant fee”. If you need to charge more for your food, then charge more money for your food. Don’t hide behind 21% restaurant/service charges and pretend like people are going to be okay with this sort of deceptive nonsense.

I had a very bad experience and feel it should be shared so others can be aware. I dined at Le Colonial Lake Forest with my spouse and another couple on a Saturday evening. We had a 6:45pm reservation.
We ordered several rounds of drinks, numerous appetizers, and each of us ordered an entrée. The total bill was over $600 for 4 people (this is not a complaint about price but I think it is important to note given what the issue was...keep reading).
