We had a nice, but not spectacular dinner in this quiet restaurant. The empanada starter was tasty. Service was quick and friendly, and they took care to manage food allergies and preferences. But the kitchen forgot to add shrimp to a salad, and when it came it was simply pan sautéd in butter. We tried two of the desserts that were acceptable, but not exceptional.
I enjoy the fish & chips. I was able to order a side of Carrots, instead of the fries. The carrots were very good. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered.
Party of five, Friday night. We had wine, three appetizers, five entrees, and dessert. Every one of us loved the all of it!
Oaken is Phenomenal!! Delicious food, exquisite ambiance, professional friendly staff..............
Great food and service. Ordered flatbread, empanadas, clam chowder, short rib chicken and burger.
The hotel hosting this restaurant does not staff it well. The staff were great, courteous, hard working, but only 2 wait staff for the whole restaurant. Wait staff also acted as hosts. There was 1 perusing bussing tables. Food was pretty good, a bit pricey, somewhat expected at a hotel restaurant. Very nice setting and noise level was moderate.
I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. While the menu offered only a small selection of dishes, everything we tried was really good. Overall, a fantastic spot that I’d happily visit again!

Good food! Server was a bit rushing of us - it was dead so odd. Wish you were in downtown though. But good pick if staying here or to meet people at.
Food arrived cold. My spinach salad w/warm dressing and grilled chicken arrived cold . The fish /chip arrived cold. Could be the kitchen not communicating with server that the food was ready. Dishes probably sat in the kitchen before server went to pick up our food . Brittany was good . She did her best. Looks like they are under staffed . Noticed 2 guys in suits , probably managers waking around. They could've jumped in and made sure dishes are sent out to the tables . Overall, Sad experience Bland food.
Nice decor and good service. When searching for restaurants in the area this came up but did not realize it was part of the Forester Hotel. Had more of a hotel bar/restaurant feel than a local establishment. If I were staying at the hotel would be a great place to have a drink and grab a bite.

My wife and I went for the first time for dinner. It was a Monday evening, so it's probably unfair to judge the vibe. The food was very good and the waitress was attentive and helpful. My only complaint is that, in my opinion, prices should be 20% less - the $10 beer should be $8, the $19 appetizer should be $15, the $35 entree should be $28 and the $22 burger should be $18. This is a restaurant in a hotel and maybe business travelers will pay these higher prices for the convenience of dining in their hotel, but will others when there are many other options within a few miles?
We had such a great experience here for a weekend dinner. We were looking for a dinned spot in the area and there weren't many options to select from. It was a very slow evening and the service was great. The Crispy Gochujang Shrimp starter was the highlight—perfectly cooked, generously sized shrimp with a tangy-spicy glaze that had just the right amount of kick. We split the Smash Burger and Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, and both were packed with flavor and super satisfying. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. Only miss was the truffle fries upgrade—not much truffle flavor, so I'd skip that next time. But otherwise, highly recommend for a tasty and casual brunch or lunch. We'll definitely be back!
The people were super kind! Enjoyed the people rooms as they were clean and nice. It was extremely spacious and easy to maneuver in.

Overall the experience was just Ok. We ordered the shrimp appetizer and the shrimp wasn't fully cooked. The burger was just ok and the chicken sandwich said it was made with breast but my meat was brown. Overall it was mediocre at best.
Our experience here was overall good! Ambience was great, food was delicious, but some service definitely needs a little help. Our waitress approached us 3 times within 10 mins asking if we were ready to order when we had advised we were waiting on two more at the table. Once our full party arrived, she took an extremely long time to approach us again and ask for their drinks orders and our food orders. When she finally came around she was very short and stern and the overall conversation was very rushed. Nonetheless the host and the older gentleman refilling our water at the table really went above and beyond with their service so shout out to them!
