I was there today for lunch and asked if they could leave the fried rice off because I could not eat rice. I realized later that she must have misunderstood me as she got very offended and said "if you don't like it - go someplace else." I exchanged a few words with her as I thought her comment to go someplace else just because I asked for no fried rice on my Plate (I cannot eat rice anymore) was very rude. I must describe what a wonderful experience my family had recently ordering carryout from Lily Garden. The food was delicious and the staff was great, even with accommodating a difficult request to avoid certain ingredients due to severe food allergies. (Realizing that special requests are not always manageable for restaurants, I let them know that just plain vegetables would also be fine as an alternative.) Lily Garden is another home to me, growing up my grandma would always take me and my brother and it’s just nostalgic! The food is amazing and giant portions and you really can’t beat the prices! The egg rolls are a must and my favorite is the chicken lo mein! I love you Lily Garden! Please also if you want to see a beautiful painting just walk in and you will be mesmerized!
