!!Beware!! They add charges after the order has been placed for delivery and without warning. So you end up paying extra after they already charged you. The food is also subpar and the skip out on the condiments.

The food is good for carry out. However the restaurant for dining in needs to be redecorated. It has been the same for over 25 years.

Lovely Chinese-American food. Run by some rad bachan (grandmas). The food was so good. My pepper beef actually tasted like pepper, and the beef was so tender. My wife got the sesame chicken and the flavor was so delicate. They even have a full bar. Absolute classic. Support them today. Do expect some relaxed service and the seats have tape on them. But the place is just old school. It's worth it.When bachan points to a menu item and shouts "yum yum" and gives you a thumbs up. Order that item. You can't go wrong.I'm going to head back sometime and see if I can elbow my way into some secret menu items. I would bet if you ask nicely they'll make you some "real" food. People who know, know.

This is the best Chinese restaurant! I've been coming here since 94 and it's what I want when I want Chinese food. They are the only ones to get the egg roll right. The one place I tried in Woodstock tasted like it was stuffed with Jiff and grass and the Kung Pao tasted more like a pot roast, and all the other ones serve those gay little spring rolls. I almost felt too guilty to finish my lunch there today because there would be nothing left for later. It's not your trendy pop small portion Chinese like PF Changs, Chens, and that other one with the drive thru. The restaurant is your classic Chinese restaurant with that tucked away feeling with a nice bar and the dragon on the ceiling. I know food and when I want Japanese I go to Bistro, high end meat Monterra Grill, Italian Cucina Bella, and of course my favorite Chinese I go here. The other food businesses in that strip have come and gone but this restaurant has stood the test of time and 30 years later it's still the best.

I went in for my birthday, absolutely amazing, food was delicious and extremely generous portions, everything was hot, which was very impressive due to how many entrees my family and I had, the service is honestly the best part of coming, always 100% energy, very kind, funny, engaged, always checked in on us, she made my birthday feel very special, please go and try this restaurant I promise it will not disappoint. I've been going to Lily Garden for as long as I can remember. Last night's meal was awful. There was exactly 11 small pieces of vegetables in the large container of sauce--5 tiny pineapple, three tiny pieces (quarter size) tomato and 3 thin zucchini? pieces. The eggroll tasted like cat food. Sayonara Lily

Great food! However, when eating in, please look at your bill. The server adds a 20% tip to your bill. She had done this to me 2 times. Not that I wasn’t going to give her a good tip. Let me decide. Needless to say, if I decide to come back - will be take out.

I've been coming here since I was a little kid. My mom used to get me the Egg Drop Soup when I wasn't feeling well, and it always made me feel just a bit better, even on my worst days. Ever since then, I've ordered from here, dined in, and even shown my boyfriend this place. Now he's hooked, too.Besides that, the food is amazing, and you get plenty of leftovers- they dont mess around with the portions. High quality, authentic food for a good price. The service is amazing, Kitty has been nothing short of wonderful every time I've come here - part of me wonders if she recognizes me from when I was little. Nonetheless, every time Im not feeling great, I will come back here for my egg drop soup and cup of tea.

Sabine from Chicago I'm a stickler about my Chinese food. For some reason I heard the food here was not going to be good but that's not the case at all. They have the old school style big humongous egg rolls, when I ordered the beef and broccoli it was jam-packed with beef they weren't light on that at all. I get the combination fried rice it's always delicious and it's fast.

Been regular customer of Lily Garden for years. Lately, the food has lost its taste. Bland, no spice. Certainly not hot as described in the menu

The food was decent. I had sweet and sour chicken with white rice. I don't eat white rice but was told they do not have brown rice. B/f had sesame chicken with white rice. He seemed to enjoy it but filled up on crab ragoon. They only had one server and the restaurant was busy for one person and there was a large table also. It took a long time for our server to get to us to take our order but once we did order food came out quick and it was hot. Will I stop back sure if I am in the area but won't drive 45 minutes just to go.
