Disappointing. Bellaluke's has been very good in the past but this visit was a bust. Overpriced ($21 for burger, small fries, small shake) and poor quality for the burger and shake. Fries were fine. Requested no lettuce (hate it!) and the hamburger was slathered with it. :(

The food is EXCELLENT! We typically order the Italian beef or the combo which are full of amazing flavor. Our other favorite is the Chicago dog. Always fresh and perfect. And the fries…. hot, fresh, and the absolute BEST! Service is always courteous and prompt. The eating area is always clean. My only negative would be that it’s typically on the chilly side in the dining area. We’ve been to Island Lake too, but find Lake Zurich to be better. Keep doing your best and don’t change a thing aside for a few degrees on the thermostat! :)

I really want to like this place but every time I am there I leave disappointed.
The Large bag of onions rings was not large and the bag wasn't full. It maybe had 7 rings. It also does not come with no sauce.
They didn't give me soup that I ordered. When I looked in the bags it was it in there. I am always shocked at the cost of the food and I am continuously underwhelmed.
The staff wasn't particularly helpful or friendly. Portion sizes have decreased and don't justify the pricing.

I usually love this place, and have been coming here once a week for a long time. Their portions are large, and the fries are usually great, but not this time.
I went through the drive thru at 12:06 pm 1-16-26 as I had a busy day with a lot of errands to do, and as soon as I reached in the bag for a fry, uh oh, it was bad news. They were half way cooked, if you held one up it would bend over and fall as it was a limp, soggy, greasy mess.
I contemplated turning around and returning them, but I was already a town away and had a lot more stops. Usually the fries are cooked and crispy, this was the first time this happened. The hot dog was hot and the drink was good, and for these reasons I gave two stars instead of one.
What really made me sit down and write this review though is the terrible woman manager I was handed off to, who argued with me that she didn't know what I was talking about, that all the employees working that day were seasoned and wouldn't make a mistake like that.
I couldn't believe it, after I had been a great customer for years, she didn't care and had to make her point. I was really disappointed that she couldn't even offer a sorry for the situation. A customer is not going to take time to call and speak with a manager about poor quality food for no reason.
There's plenty of other hot dog places out there with great fries that I can start going to, and will.

Very disappointed. Got there a half hour before close and ordered dinner for our family of five spending over $50. They seemed irritated we were there from the start. My son accidentally overfilled his sprite and tried to clean it up. Unfortunately my daughter felt ill and went to the bathroom but the girl was cleaning it so needless to say she did not make it into the bathroom. She was afraid to tell us but as we were leaving the owner, I believe as he’s always there, and the girl were walking to towards the bathroom. I apologized for my son’s spill and was blatantly ignored. Not knowing she had gotten sick on the floor we left and it was 5 minutes before closing. As we were in our car getting ready to leave he walked towards the windows yelling at us and pounding on his chest. So very inappropriate. Needless to say we will never go back or recommend such a hate filled establishment to anyone.
