picked up an order today. 1st they forgot 3 orders of toast, 1 order of grits and 2 sides of doughnuts. I called and they were really nice about it and are giving us a credit. however I will not be going back after trying to eat the food we did get. the eggs tasted like they were cooked in a pan that was wiped with and old soapy sponge. 50 bucks wasted.
They abuse their employees here
Unfortunately was dissapointed.
Tried sitting outside-Bees everywhere swarming us no joke at least 10.

To me thats absurd.
Love supporting local, but i cant get behind the service. Our server acted like she could care less to be there. All Staff seemed stressed including the young girls behind the counter. Not one friendly hello to any customer from any server while there
Environment is not for me. Sad.

Egg Shells Restaurant is a favorite breakfast spot with delicious food and generous portions. The menu features tasty plates like breakfast quesadillas, savory sausage patties and eggs, chilaquiles, the sunrise burrito, and excellent fluffy omelets. Their donuts and magically soft donut holes are freshly made on site. The freshly squeezed orange juice comes from actual oranges squeezed there. Other noted items include a perfectly cooked medium fried egg, a generously filled deli sandwich combo, and Intelligentsia coffee.
The service is consistently described as top notch, with friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff. The food is always delicious, priced fairly, and represents a good value. Many customers are regulars who visit once or more a week.
A note on hours: the restaurant closes around 2pm, but they take this seriously and may wrap up earlier if slow, so arriving well before close is advised. While most experiences are highly positive, some frustration has been noted when the kitchen closes before the stated time. Overall, Egg Shells Restaurant is a highly recommended destination for a flavorful and satisfying breakfast.
