We hosted a private party at The Treehouse Cafe in Lake Zurich and the staff was amazing & the kids AND adults had a blast! Everything was clean, on-time, and the staff even kept the cafe open for our guests! The kids ages ranged from 1 year to 12 years old. 10/10 recommend.

This place is wonderful! It’s brand new and fun for hours! The 3 and under area is a great addition for the younger ones. The decor is pleasing to the eye and not decorated in bright harsh colors like most kids places! There’s plenty of seating options for adults too. The cafe has a lot of options as well. Re-entry is allowed so it was perfect to go take a little break and come back later. I highly recommend it!

My daughter loves this place. I’m trying out the membership however I’m a busy working mom and the hours are not that convenient. Closing at 5pm on a daily basis gives my daughter 0 minutes to maybe an hours at most once a week to play. I wish they were open later til maybe 7 or 8pm would help. I’ll be cancelling our membership

we had our 3 year olds birthday party here and it was such a hit! very clean and open. the staff was extremely nice and helpful. loved the easy stress-free aspect of it all. we hosted 30 parents and 15 kiddos ranging ages from 9 months to 10 years old and it was perfect! highly recommend the 10 to 12 spot as the first hour was mostly our party before the real rush picked up.

The check-in area was more chaotic than I expected and it was very difficult to get your belongings. A child vomited in the little kids play area and the parents cleaned it with a wet wipe. There is no go earning the play areas by the staff and kids could get really sick.

Treehouse is one of our favorite places. The staff is amazing and so friendly. The environment is clean and safe. The food is delicious and coffee drinks are top notch. We go at least once a week.
We visited the new location in McHenry and it is bigger and the kids had so much fun exploring all the different paths to run through. 10/10 ⭐!!!

Finally!! So excited the McHenry location has finally opened. I've been to the LZ location a few times and love it, but this spot is so much more convenient. It's larger than the Lake Zurich location & has a different play structure configuration. It's so clean, like seriously diligent constant cleaning by the staff. They have a menu full of healthy meals & snacks, plus plenty of coffee and drink options for grown ups. The separate mother's room is much appreciated and there is tons of comfy seating spanning the length of the space. Will be back countless times for sure!

We went to the Christmas breakfast with Santa the only thing that was disappointing they use canned fruit as opposed to fresh fruit that they had last year other than that Santa Claus was amazing always fun times

Such a step up from previous ownership. Cafe area and couches for parents to relax. Overall, it's a great spot for families seeking a fun and visually appealing place for children to play, suitable for casual visits, themed events or birthday parties. 👏🏼

We adore Treehouse Play Cafe! It's so nice to have somewhere indoors for kids to go when the weather isn't cooperating or when you need to plan a playdate in advance and you aren't sure how the weather will be...or you're planning a birthday party and need a beautiful controlled environment. This play structures here are well-kept, clean(!!!!!!!!!!!!), safe, and perfect for young kids to freely play and explore on their own. The space contains them, so there's less worry. And it's a really nice spot for a birthday party in those months where you can't rely on weather to hold out. It's already a pretty space, so you don't need to do much sprucing/decorating. The staff is sweet and helpful. And, most importantly, the little ones have a safe, great time! We had parties here two years in a row and have had wonderful luck both times.

The open room layout is great and allows you to keep an eye on the kids while having uninterrupted conversation with the parents.
