This place is the best!! I take my granddaughter primarily to the Lake Zurich location but Mchenry is lovely too. Its so clean and the size is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. The food is delicious too!! We go every week!!

First time here and met the owner who also operates the building (cleaning, helping staff, etc.). She was really sweet and appreciative of our business. This place is so great. My daughter had a blast today. The place is clean, well maintained, friendly staff, and plenty of seating for adults. As well as great selection of beverages, and snacks. Will be back! These couches are so comfortable! Lol

Really nice place for kids to play! They have a 3 and under section and the tree house is perfect for 3-5 year olds. I'd say really ideal for toddlers. Loved the atmosphere, photo opportunities, very clean and safe space. They have high chairs for littles. Staff were all wonderful & friendly ☺️

What a fantastic find! The Treehouse Play Cafe is a total win for parents and little ones alike. My toddler son absolutely loves the playground and he could play there for hours. It’s so nice to actually sit back, enjoy a coffee, and watch him have a blast without constantly chasing him around.
The whole place is immaculate and thoughtfully designed, which makes such a difference with a young child. And the food is actually really good! I can’t recommend it enough for a fun, relaxing morning or afternoon out.

We have been there twice. My 6 year old had a blast both times. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The coffee is delicious. One part that stood out to me both times is how well the parents monitor their children. We’ve been to similar places and had a few issues bullying. I’m not sure if it’s the layout but here you’ll see the parents actively watching, and even engaging with their kids. Thank you for providing such a safe place for our kids to play.

One of the cleanest and nicest play place we’ve been to! I’ve brought my 2yo a few times now and he always has a great time. Facilities and play areas are kept clean and well maintained, and the cafe is pretty good! Staff are very kind as well.
We celebrated our daughter’s 1st birthday and Jack and Nora were great hosts! We are so happy we chose to have her birthday here and will definitely be back to play!

I was super nervous coming here for a birthday party during cold and flu season but this place is EXTREMELY clean. First time I'd ever been there and the staff was fabulous and friendly and the facility was hospital-level clean. Thank you for having a great facility for the kids in the area!!
