“Cork & Kerry is a Southside iconic pub. It has a great atmosphere, beer & drink selection. The service is great. It's the type of place you will run into someone you know. They don't serve food there, but they will let you bring it in. There is a great party room for any occasion. There is plenty of room for at least 75 people comfortably. You can bring in your own decorations, food, and desserts. They will let you run an open bar tab or customize the occasion to your price range. Parking can be tricky depending on what day of the week you visit. There is only free street parking. You may have to drive to a side street unless it's not busy. Overall, Cork & Kerry is a great Southside Irish bar to visit.“

“The new management is wonderful! My husband and I have been patroning McNally's since we moved to the area. We were sad when they announced they were closing at the end of 2024, but THRILLED when they reopened under new management in 2025.

Staff are very friendly, and their private event space is perfect! I recently held my baby shower there and the space had everything I could have asked for. Plenty of tables for both seating, food/deserts, and gifts. Management was very responsive to booking the space and answering questions. 10/10 would host another event there.“

“Anchor Inn is an average to small size bar. What it lack in size it makes up for it in hospitality and great food. Anchor offers amazing drinks specials. Spa poker, billiards, board games, raffles and more. The bartenders are very engaging a family friendly environment. Check them out on Spa Poker on Tuesday night. “Kid-friendliness: I haven't 8-year-old grandson that loves to go there mainly because they're very they talked to him they they want their concerned about what he wants to see if he wants to sauce on the side or whatever it is he they always seem to to make him feel like he's you know not invisible like some of them do“

“We went in for the Saturday burger special. It was delicious flavorful burger. I’m not a burger person so finding one this good was a delight! The wings were very good too. It’s a relaxed atmosphere which was so nice to enjoy our meal and drinks.

“Visiting the area and family wanted us to try their brews as one of their favorites. Tried a flight of 10 beers and favs were Tangerine Trackstar, Toxic Words, Lucifer in a haze, Immoveable King, Nuban overlord and the top one Here comes the reaper. We also had the Pretzel and queso for snacks. They were very good and fast. They also had ice tea which is not always available at breweries. I will say the art work gave me pause and some of the names being a Christian but I don't know the background to comment.“
