This is a pretty good bar on Western. First of all, they don’t serve food. Any review that mentions food means that the reviewer is flat out lying and has never been there. This is a bar that serves cold beer in the company of nice employees. They’ve made some renovations recently. They also support lots of neighborhood causes. Drink here. Watch the White Sox.
They have remodeled the place. It's nicer. Staff is very friendly. Very welcoming. Prices are fair and the beer is cold. Outside of Tito's and soda or a cold beer, don't expect a mixologist to come up with an old fashioned. Nobody on western can do this. Anyway I digress. Beware of the many fake reviews which Yelp refuses to remove. As previously mentioned, they don't serve food here. Another Western Avenue gem which has been battling fake reviews online. What am I referring to? Reviews that claim bad service and bad food. Guess what? It’s a bar not a restaurant. They don’t serve food. Reviews that mention this are fraudulent. The people have never stepped foot inside.This place is a great bar to catch a Sox game and have some cold beers with friends. You can’t beat that. Recently they have done some remodeling and McNallys is nicer than ever.
