“The experience was very good. The food was delicious. We ordered the fried okra and green tomatoes appetizers,then we had their Caesar Salad and Fried catfish fillets. Everything was fresh, hot and well seasoned. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I would recommend Dixie Kitchen and Bait Shop as a great place to check out for a good experience and good food.“

“Was recommended this restaurant from a friend. The maple tree and did not disappoint. Made a reservation online easy. Their menu is awesome, simple and delicious. Crab cake was perfect! Our dinner was fantastic. We had trout and shrimp. They have the best banana pudding over crème brûlée. The coffee for an end cap was out of this world good!“

If you are looking for a taste that gives you a nostalgic feeling like you’re sitting in your grandmas kitchen on a Sunday, THIS IS IT! I think this is a hidden gem. This place deserves more attention. Food was so good, I tried to sample it in store and ended up sitting down and eating the entire meal and ordered more food to take home. The buffalo sauce had an amazing homemade taste. Again everything was so good I’m excited for my next visit. I plan on ordering the rib tips.
