“Amazing ramen and vibe! Best ramen I've had! Tried the Tanaka Spicy and it was really good with good heat(I'm latino) so be cautious. I did however order for myself the Tanaka Combo(pictured) and it was definitely the best broth and taste I've had on ramen! Give the place a try ?“

“The food was really great, huge portions for a good price. We did have to wait a while even though we had a reservation. It felt a little chaotic, but we did have 12 in our party, so probably that was the reason. They are super busy, give them a lot of credit handling so many in a small space. I do plan to go back, maybe takeout, though.“

“Stopped in with our 1 year old for sushi and everything was great!! Super fast service and family friendly. After leaving to get in our car, we found out that our car died, and the restaurant owner helped us jump our car! Above and beyond service. Thank you!“

“Forbidden noodles' primarily culinary focus is Japanese Ramen and stir fry selections. The curry is good and tastes very much like the mild golden ramen brand Japanese curry that I make at home occasionally. The chicken and broccoli added to the standard rice and carrot/potato curry mixture were of good quality. The Tonkotsu had very good pork, and surprisingly, it included broccoli as well. The more common ramen garnishes of onions, baby bock choy, egg, naruto (fish cake), and seaweed were also in this bowl and tasted good. They have a cheese, steak, and jalapeño egg roll that was amazing, and yes, you should try one. Forbidden Noodles is a great addition to downtown La Grange and for this area, this is a good choice for ramen in the area. If you are searching for your favorite bowl of ramen anywhere around chicagoland, feel free to check my reviews of alternate ramen restaurant options.“

“I normally go to the Mongolian out in Naperville and I'm so sad that one closed. When I'm out here I always make an effort to stop by because I love Mongolian. This location is always clean, the food is always great and the service is on point. Julie was great!! Happy birthday“

“Great service, everyone was really nice. Fried chicken (half Soy Garlic/Half Spicy), Cole Slaw, Pickled Radish and Pork Buns were delicious. The only thing that disappointed us was the Bulgogi… tons of onions, not a lot of meat… the meat was also chewy, and the taste was just OK. I would definitely go back, but I wouldn’t order any Bulgogi as that was the worst Bulgogi I’ve ever had.“

“This place never fails to provide great food and a huge selection of choices. Their Dim Sum is one of the best in Chicago and means you don't have to go to Chinatown to get great Chinese food. Too many dishes to mention, but I'm sure you will be thrilled with any choice you make.“

“Best pad Thai I’ve had in a long time. I ordered the chicken Royal Pad Thai and chicken egg rolls. The noodles were cooked perfectly, it came hot in my delivery and was full of flavor. I got the medium spice and it was the perfect amount. Highly satisfied and will be ordering from again!“

“We went here for the first time expecting it to be a sushi place - but it's not. It's sit down Chinese - and very good too! Was a pleasant surprise! The Orange Chicken tastes like orange! The almond chicken was perfectly velveted. The lo mein was delicious and satisfying.Service was a little spotty. We had to remind them to take a drink order and they seemed a little confused when we did that. They seemed to forget about us at the end of the meal as well - sat there for a while waiting to get a check. The place was clean, cozy, quiet, and comfortable. Great for a date night. We are totally going back.“

“Went on a Wednesday night but it still was crazy busy - line out the door. This place is still fairly new so that’s understandable.Surprisingly most people were taking it to go and only a few sat in the restaurant and ate even though their seating area is pretty appealing including tables for large parties and nice private booths.Tasty and fresh food. I would recommend going with à la cart and getting the original bowl with lots of vegetable toppings and your choice of meat. Basically the same concept as Chipotle. The sauces I would recommend are:Yum Yum and Gochujang. They are even better when you get them both together on your dish.A bonus surprise you’ll find at this place:Free miso soup. They have a container of the soup sitting by the drinks with the sign saying that it’s complementary.Overall, we really enjoyed the food and our time there - since we did take advantage of the seating at one of the private booths ?.You will enjoy as well for sure. Try it ?“

“The counter staff was friendly and helpful. I have long enjoyed Korean cuisine and chose the Korean bbq with that in mind. The result was spot on with additional flavor notes that expanded the experience. I am looking forward to making this a regular stop on the rota of reliable favorites.“

“I've visited Happy Lamb where I live in Houston, and the experience was the same. The quality of food was good. I'm just not a fan of the broth selections. I feel as though they're not flavorful enough. I frequent a restaurant here in Houston called Volcano Hot Pot, and their soup broth is insane! Idk if it's because it's Korean inspired or what. The service was great as well as the atmosphere. I would visit again if it's winter and I'm in town and want to hot pot.“

“What a great addition to Lemont! We have been meaning to come here for a while, and now that we finally have we will be making it a point to come more often! The Qlamari were a delicious starter - very fresh and tender, with two delicious sauces. One was creamy green sauce, tasted like a spicy jalapeno coconut curry, the other was a sweet chili sauce. The entree's were a nice spin on traditional dishes. They had a good depth of flavor and had the traditional flavor while tasting elevated. I have never tried the fried rice noodles , I loved the crunch they added to the Lad Nar. The Pepper steak was delicious too.We are excited to try some more of our traditional thai favorites like drunken noodles, pad woon sen, etc the next time and see what kind of delicious spin they put on them! Also - at first I was surprised that they chose the strip mall on State as their location, but the interior is actually beautiful, cozy, and delightfully understated. I also appreciate that I didn't have to search for parking and I could easily order takeout here as well. Make this your next meal out - you won't be disappointed!!“
