Food is excellent. Always an interesting culinary experience. Service is very good and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Lexington is not far from Bloomington-Normal and is well worth the drive from the Champaign area. Definitely a destination location. This particular day was a special lobster day and we had Connecticut lobster rolls (butter instead of mayonnaise salad), fresh oysters, the Rhode Island ones were very good. Also had fried clams which were quite tasty.
Such an amazing night. My husband and I celebrated our 41st anniversary here and can’t say enough about how impressed we were with everything we had. The wait staff was incredible helpful with everything. The chef delivered our shareables and meal and explained how everything was created. If you enjoy top notch service/food I would highly recommend this place!!
We've been there many times and never disappointed! They do have a limited menu but their oysters, as appetizers, are wonderful AND ( when they have it) the halibut is delectable! Also have fine wines and cocktails! And delicious desserts . Reservations recommended ! Have sat at bar as a walk in!
