I had fried mushrooms to start off with. They were good then I had Onion, potato soup real good half fried chicken was a little bit too crunchy for me and didn't think the chicken had enough meat on its bones and to finish it off. I had a slice of their apple pie and I love it. Cold with whipped cream and it was perfect but overall was a good meal. I would go back
Went there for lunch on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant was clean and bright, and I was greeted warmly when I walked in. I don't know if it was because it was a Friday or not, but one of the specials was whole fried catfish, which is one of my weaknesses, but I've had difficulty finding restaurants that offered it. Our visit was delicious at this busy cafe! We stopped for breakfast while visiting Lincoln and we were well-received ... with good food too! The café was busy, but not too busy to not take good care of us! The pumpkin spice pancakes were amazing...and our egg dishes tasty! We got plenty of coffee refills to get us fueled for our busy day!
