Just got a donut at their new location and it tasted better than all the other Mel-O-Cream donuts I’ve had before! The store was very clean. They are now open until 7:00 every day of the week. The owner told us that if they are out of a specific kind of donut you like, you can ask them to make it in the back because they fill and ice all their donuts there. The owner also said they will be starting to brew different kinds of specialty coffee and make smoothies. He was very friendly and engaging in conversation. I don’t live in Lincoln so unfortunately I won’t be able to go super often, but I recommend this store to anyone hankering for a fresh donut!!

If I could give zero stars I would. The management and owners are absolutely terrible and don’t keep the back clean whatsoever. Be careful what you’re eating!!!

They were sold out before 9am. My daughter and I went at 830 on a Friday and were disappointed to see only about 20 donuts left. It seems they fill orders for local businesses etc, but there isn't much left for walk in customers to select from. This isn't the first time it has happened to us either.
